I'm pretty fed up with the T atomizers for my eGo. I love them when they work. The low resistance atty I got tastes way better than the regular one (when it wicks enough to not get that terrible dry atty taste). The regular atomizer is way more consistent, but it's either leaking, flooded, or some sort of hassle too much of the time. I really want flavors to shine, and have warmer vapor.

Oh, forgot to add that I was planning on either going to ikenvape or avid vaper from all the good things I've read. Once I actually decide which one atty to go with I'll probably add some cartos to the order. 901 i'd need an adapter for my ego, and if I went with that i'd likely get a drip shield...

Ikenvape's hardware is really good but I don't like atomizers unless they are the dual coil atomizers from cloudsofvapor.com. They are the only ones I will vape with everyday. For testing liquids, I've switched over to LR306's.

I have been using DCT's for the past few days and so far I am enjoying them. I read a lot about them leaking but I have had no problem. I was using atomizers on my ego but as Balthezar stated I just use them for flavor testing now. I liked the atty's till I tried the DCT's and still have no complaints about them. The ones I have are from litecig. I have been rotating between (3) of them and they have lasted about three weeks now with a weekly deep clean.

I'm a little sore with tanks at the moment haha I read some reviews on the COV dual coil atomizers and it sounded good but some part of me just wants to steer more towards "tried and true" if that makes sense. The LR306s seem really popular, and no adapter is a plus. It's more then likely between the 510 and the 306. I'm for sure gonna add a pack of cartos to the order and see how I fare with 'em. Dual coils the way to go for sure on those?

So the 306 or the 510? Lots of people say the flavor is better with a 901, but I should probably make sure dripping is for me before throwing on an adapter I may (or may not) get a lot of use from. @Balthazar where do you get your smoktech 1.7 dual coils? And what do you think as far as the differences go in the 1.7 and the 2.0 on the ego battery? I really want some warmer vapor. My ego-t type b cools it down a lot and restricts the draw (helps if I pop out the little mouthpiece catches). Menthol is the only flavor that really "pops," I'm sure some of these juices taste much better then they already do =)

Same ohm LR306s run hotter than LR510s whatever the brand. I get the LR genuine Joyes in bulk from VaporKings.com. Been vaping for nearly 10 months and can't tell much difference between those and IKV's or Ciscos. If you're vaping at high voltage IKV and Cisco HV attys are better imo. A guy in the classifieds has boxes of 5 LR306s 1.5 ohm for $20 shipped. Just bought a box. I can't find anything that comes close to direct dripping for flavor. I switch off using 306s and 510s. Hope you find your happy place quickly. 2 cents: get a thick, good drip tip for your 306 attys. They can get hot enough to melt the plastic. The cute little clear-swirly shorty DTs crack and melt at first vape.

I hear you!
But depending on how long you've been dripping, there is a learning curve. Key is not too much juice.
The eGo has a limited range as you know; LR to SR attys run 1.5 to 2.4 , and cartos are higher (LR =2.1, SR= 2.5 and up) but for some reason they vape well on a "3.7" pv. (eGo is around 3.2 to 3.4v).
The SR 901 is 2.8 to 3.0 Ohm but works well on "3.7" as well.

I'd stick with LR's at 1.7 to 2.0 Ohms. SR's will work well but as the batt charge drops so will performance.
I've been dripping for over a year, and I am much better at it than I was the first few months let me tell you. You eventually get a feel for it and better outcomes in general. Dripping is the best vape imo.
My favorite is the 901 SR but i use VV.
306 are great imo. I like LR 1.7 to 2.0 Ohms even on VV.
Iken's (510/306) LRs in that range are really good.

Alright, so a stainless steel drip tip it is! So I had the pierce plate off of my T atomizer and decided to try out dripping. Well, I threw 3 drops on it and whamo straight through to the battery end. Couldn't even get the coil wet enough for a puff. Is that normal? There isn't a bridge on it, but I figured that would be good? That doesn't usually happen does it? I did one drop at a time, and each disappeared. After the third I took a drag and half a second in scorched taste...

You probablly didn't push the little cup with the coil back down where it belongs after you removed the plate.

The dripping atty that didn't get mentioned yet is the 510-T atty with the wick plate removed.
Some like it better because it only has one side hole in the base instead of two. So they are not as airy as some of the others.
An LR (1.5ohm) 510-T works well on an eGo bat.

I would also suggest that you get one of these to use with your eGo bat.

The plastic cup was in place. That was the strange thing, the plastic cup filled up then drained out. That cone drip shield from avid vaper is exactly the one I was gonna get! For $8, it's a worthy investment I think. And I like the fact that the cone threads aren't exposed like the regular drip shields. I was thinking about trying a 901 and getting a sealed adapter and using a drip shield (since apparently they're leakers). Does liquid go through to the battery end often? Even without over dripping? I mean, it was a 100%pg juice so rather thin. The sealed adapter I figured would solve the battery end issue. So many choices I just don't know.
