-I am only a social smoker (and hope to stay that way). I indulge a few times a week if I am out with friends or seriously stressed. It's more of a cure for social anxiety than addiction to nicotine.

Then I would highly, highly recommend using only low or no nicotine liquids. Most people who use e-cigs were regular smokers before switching, but social smokers can still use an e-cig and no nic liquids if there isn't an issue of nicotine addiction.

-Call it vanity, but how the cig looks is pretty important to me. I have a serious (we're all 18 here I assume) sexual smoking fetish. The reason I like the three listed is they have a solid color body, same color battery and "filters", at least in the ads anyway. Solid color cigs just rub me (and my boyfrend!) the right way lol

You can buy 510 starter kits that have matching batteries and atomizers. Compliment that with a matching, translucent drip tip and you have a sexy looking, slim device.

-Like I said, I am only a social smoker, so battery life isn't terribly important to me as I won't be using it constantly, but it is nice to have at least a decent battery life. Cartridge life is more important.

Then the 510 starter kits would suit your needs. The batteries last about two to three hours before needing a recharge, depending on how long and how frequently you vape. Obviously, being rechargeable, over time the ability to hold a charge deteriorates and they won't last as long from full charge.

-About Blu and Prosmoke ecigs, are they solid colors? I see that the black ones are with both brands, but when I see the white batteries sometimes they have white cartiages and sometimes brown. I'm so confused!

I think the Blu either comes in all black or white with tan cartomizers. Or does the Blu come with pre-filled cartridges?

-Vapor isn't really a problem for me either. I mean, I want vapor, but if the vapor output isn't amazing that's no problem.

Then just about any 3.7v slim model will be fine for what you're looking for.

I'm really leaning towards Prosmoke at the moment. I rarely see poor reviews on them while I see many on Blu, mainly on the cartridge quality and battery life (I assume its due to the shortness of it?) I haven't heard much about the Luci, maybe you guys can help out with that?

With any of these branded e-cigs you're going to pay for the branding, packaging and marketing rather than quality. That Prosmoke is way over priced and the glowing reviews likely come from people who get money or discounts on accessories if they post a video review on YouTube or written review online with a link to the Prosmoke site and a promo code. Your best bet is getting a Joye/Titan/Yeti/DuraC (all the same 510, 3.7v lithium ion, slim battery device sold through various vendors). You will pay far less, get better lifespan out of the device and will have far more options in components and e-liquids.

Just thought I'd emphasis the blu comes in either all black or all white. I got the all black (well, it does have the gold band where the atty screws on the battery. For $70 for 2 batts, 2 attys, USB charger, PCC, and 25 carts, I don't think it's that bad of a deal. I still stand by my offer to let you try mine. I noticed you are in KY. I live in Louisville, but go to Lex at least a few times a month, so unless you live far off 64, it would be no trouble to let you try mine! I'm not trying to push the blu on anyone, but I don't think it's as bad as the rap it gets sometimes.

EDIT: Yeah, the carts are prefilled, but you can refill them.

Because you seem concerned about the looks of your ecig, I'd recommend Modern Vapor's sidesho. Check out the white one. Plus, it's got a great hit. I also have several 510's and I've loved them all. The sidesho is a hair smaller diameter than the 510 and weighs a bit less.

That thing is pretty wicked looking for what it is. I like the blue one. ;)

Ive had the 510, Blu, Ego, and KR808. I would recommend the 510 definitely. It looks like a regular cig. The length is about the size of a 100. You can buy cartomizers for convenience and you have infinite flavors to choose from. They produce great vapor and you wont have any issues with it not hitting right like the blu. The blu is flawed because of the cart design. The carts makes it useless because they are so stupidly designed. Buy the 510 and you will be happy. There is a starter kit for 35$ at alien visions. Go buy it.

The blu with 306 cartos works pretty well... Have you tried that combination?

if you want an analog type of experience then get a manual kr (either standard size or mini) and get some lr 2.0 ohm cartomizers. I suggest Litecigusa. I've been into mods for sometime but have slowly been going back to these in public settings. As technology increases we'll soon have long battery life and great vapor in an analog sized e cig

I bought some of these from MadVapes to give away because they were cheap and they're not a bad PV at all! Many of the people I gave them to are still using them after months of use. One person posted that he has been vaping for a year and the only PV he has used is 2 of these $10 disposables.

Great idea. I'm going to get a few of these to pass around. Thanks!

Blu is the only one I tried, but honestly unless your going to really play with it, learn to direct drip etc with the blu you will be disapointed, the cart feed system doesn't work well, and they say 1 cart is 3-5 smokes, I'd disagree it's maybe 1.

I did keep my Blu (Paranoia about not having something to use) and occasionally I'll pull it out and use it, mostly when I missplace my eGo, but that being said, I'd say you'd probably be better off with a standard 510 the biggest problem with the 510 is the connection spot between the battery and the atty, and the cart and the addy leak, and it's kind of messy that's why the eGo comes with a cone, it covers those "leak spots". Which to me even though you are a "light" smoker I would say the ego is probably the right fit for you.

This has been an interesting thread. There has been some really good advice, and some laughably bad advice.

1. The ego is a great e-cig, but it's not within a million miles of what the OP was looking for. Stay away from it.
2. The 510 and KR808 are NOT the size of a regular cigarette. They are about the right proportion, but noticeably larger. To say they are cig sized is simply not true or correct. The KR8's are about the same length, but thicker. Thicker even than a camel wide, which means much thicker than a "real" cig. The 510 is both thicker AND longer.
3. A PCC is probably a plus, which eliminates the "sampler" type kits.
4. The OP does not want or need a 3.7v PV. They were pretty specific about performance not being a big issue.

Clearly, this person is somebody who really wants a super-mini. There are several super-mini's on the market, and they all have a bad reputation on this forum which is rabidly pro-510. Blu has a VERY poor reputation because their carts are tough to refill, their customer service is mediocre at best, and their quality is iffy, even compared to other super mini's.

The two best that come to mind would be the Volcano from volcanocigs.com and the Elite from revolvercig.com. Volcano is nearly identical to the blu, but comes with a MUCH better PCC, and is sold by a company with MUCH better service. The elite, which I still have as my back-up is quite possibly the best super-mini on the market today, which I've not been shy to say. Their services is excellent as well.

Both of them have easy to use pre-filled carts that are relatively easy to refill on your own.

Both companies sell liquid for refilling on your own.

Both of them are the exact size and shape of a real cig.

Both come with a PCC that is very very close to the exact size and shape of a pack of cigarettes.

Both come in solid colors, including the option of one that looks a great deal like a regular cig.

This was worth quoting the whole response because it is absolutely spot on... To the OP... You won't get better advice than this!

Thanks. Also, to add one more detail, both companies sell replacement pre-filled carts for about $1.00 a piece, which means somewhere between 2 and 3 dollars per pack equivalent. (remember that super-minis tend to use a lot less liquid than bigger PV's)
