Sorry, but research has proven that the "vapor" molecules (steam), are too large for the lungs to use ...
Blood was tested before and after inhalation and the nicotine showed negative in the blood coming from the lungs.

The nicotine is absorbed by the lining of your mouth, throat, nasal passages, and sinuses.
That's why it takes longer for the nicotine is get to your brain.

Try slowly inhaling into your mouth, swishing it around like wine, and then slowly exhaling straight through your nose about 4 times in a row, and see how high of a "nicotine hit" you get within 10 minutes.
You don't even need to inhale ... ever.

No matter how hard I try (and the juice is running out quicker this way :vapor:), I can't exhale through my nose

I was just pondering this question. I was always a lung smoker (I didn't know there were people who didn't inhale…other than Clinton :D). I've found myself alternating between the two, with mouth vaping being the most often. For me, throat hit was always the clincher and I feel like the TH is stronger with the lungs. But, with the restricted airflow over analogs (ProTank 2) I also get wicked light-headed.

I honestly don't see why people even say that there is a right or wrong way to vape. If you enjoy it then no matter what way you do it is the right way

Agree. A lot of people vape in different ways, interesting to read. End of day whatever floats your boat.

I was always a mouth to lung inhaler when I smoked (even with cigars). I never even considered doing a straight to lung inhale. That said, I've tried it with the ecig and find that the throat hit is quite pleasing (especially when the battery starts to get weaker). That said, it did take some time to get the lung inhale sorted so I don't end up with a sore throat or coughing spell but now I kind of like it when I want that extra throat hit.

So happy that I found this thread. I was doing it all wrong! I was lung inhaling, like you would a regular cigarette. I would do long and heavy draws directly to my lungs, and I did notice that my flavor was very muted. Also I noticed that the nicotine effect was very little. Now after practicing the correct method for a few minutes, I have a total head rush and I am tasting notes in the flavors that I never realized were there. Thanks again for all the wealth of info on this forum!

interesting thread!

I am a long time (30+ years) occasional cigar/cigarillo smoker married to an ashtray+chimney (she will probably see this eventually), who has tried and given up on vaping once before.

After a friend of mine convinced me that I wanted a Vamo v5 + nautilus for my birthday, we procured these items. Sadly I have not had the chance to try my toy as hers broke and she inherited mine (cause I am a nice guy?)

While sitting in an e-cig store waiting for our names to be called, I took a hit of hers (pre-her-dropping it) and accidentally full lunged it (long story short I was born with not up to spec breathing machinery) much to my dismay.

Another follow on hit, treating it like my cigars etc. and I was fine.

What is the possibility that the pg/vg mix and or her settings made the full lung hut, even if accidental, a worse experience thanit would have been otherwise?

Also back on the topic, I have been looking for CAO-esq flavors, both the tobacco blends, and the added flavor kinds, may of which are fruity, sweet, creamy, etc.

One I have found that smells the part is Space Jams: Eclipse

Another smell fit is a local store's (possibly relabeled) "caumorin tobacco"

I will report back what these are like when I don't need to borrow her new toy ;P

I have not done so well with the unflavored CAOs

EDIT:
woops, wrong thread replied to, the other is locked , swap the off topic/on topic sections
