So today I got to partake of the feeding frenzy that was the iHybrid sale. Crazy! Will admit it was a bit frustrating for me. Had one in the basket! They even reserved for like 4 minutes while you entered in the CC info. But.... system bombed over and over as I entered info (happened to others too) and eventually my timer ran out.

I have a Zen standard on the way so somehow I think I will survive.

More relevant to the topic here, vape Revolution seems to have a decent amount of Gus and Atmizoo in stock. Might even pick one or two of these up myself. Or take my lady out to dinner for putting up with my crap :p

It just a matter of time. I was good for 6 months then all of a sudden all these new "luxury mods" came out and I have an itch again. Crazy how the market changes so fast from Provari and GGs. Coming from the Philippines back to states I have access again to anything new in the market. The culture there is very "social" with high ends mods. It's a social status thing... whatever.. Having more mod makers should help with price on things eventually. We are only 3 months in this new year and things are selling for $300-$500 resell value. Just like technology there will be a stopping point and you can pay for the latest and greatest or just get something that is good enough.

Hey Cat...
...I just got a Gus 18650, I scanned Google images for G22..seems close...
...I like it. Seems rock solid, nice machining. I don't regret it at all....
...I got it for something to use 'out and about', shoveling snow, etc... I think it will serve that purpose in a hardy manner... at least I don't see where it wouldn't yet...
...Yes it is shiny. And so does slip and slide in my fingers a bit. I may find something of a solution for this, but it isn't a big problem... and I don't think I would want to do anything that would destroy the aesthetics...
..and so... all good...
..I hope you enjoy yours.
...All the best, cheers, ~M

You aren't the only one that feels that way. I wish china would hurry up and come out with some hybrid packages. All they have to do is put together a mech 18350/650 mod with an AGA-T like RBA and anodize them in different colors.

With the higher end models you are paying a pretty penny for the look, brand, engraving/milling, and color. The functionality itself can be obtained for a much lower price. If you think the "craftsmanship" that goes into a metal tube is worth $300, more power to you. The only one I think is worth the money is the ihybrid LE for $250 on 310vapors. If you want one of those, clear your schedule and camp out on that site. There are sales coming up on the 6 and 11th. I wouldn't recommend shelling out $400 for one off the classifieds.

I agree, I'm more about function over form and still can't justify ever paying more than $100 for a device no matter how good it is. But I am tempted to shell out for a Reo Grand though..
