M16 Clone? Other good mech mods cheap? Are clones as good?

I want to purchase a mech mod and my friend recommended a m16 clone. I found one for $30 but i dont know if clones are complete .... or not. Any one else recommend a fairly priced mech mod?

I got an M16 clone from fasttech which I like a lot. I'm not sure what you mean by "complete" - typically a mod will still need a battery, charger, some kind of head, and of course, some juice (although there are some mods sold as "kits" that have one or more of the aforementioned items included).

I have a m16 clone and a nemesis, the nemesis looks way better and I added magnets to the firing pin and I love the resistance it gives, can set it down and not have to worry about locking it.

I have an m16 clone as well. It was my first mech mod and I really like it. I also have a Hades mod, also a clone, which I am absolutely in love with.

Yeah, unless it's sold as a "kit" all you're going to get is the tube that holds the battery. As stated above, you'll need a battery or batteries in most cases (the battery life in a mechanical mod is typically rather short) you'll need a good charger and a tank to top it off with.

As far as good clones go - EHPro and Hcigar make great clones for mechanicals and also for tanks.

I'm running an Hcigar M16 and it's great. Reads 4.18V with no load and 3.6V with a 0.4ohm load. Hits hard, very hefty and sturdy, large smooth threads, and telescoping so no extra tubes to have lying around. Like someone mentioned above, you will most likely have to buy the battery, charger, atomizer, wicks, and wire separately unless it's advertised as kit. My entire mech setup ran me about $90.

For other clones around the same price, there's the Nemesis, Chi You, K101 and Hades come to mind first.
