M401/402 battery thread size

I've done some measurements, and found the threads to be 0.5mm pitch. I think the outer diameter makes it M7 bolt type (can anyone verify?)
problem is, I can't find any M7 x 0.5 Bolts, Die and Tap sets, or anything that might work. It's a start to modding these e-cigs without destroying a battery.

m7-.5 isnt a common tap,, i have the pilot and it measures to be m7-.5,,

I'll try Radioshack sometime this week, but so far i'm still not seeing any for cheap. I don't think i'll buy from the UK, shipping would be too expensive.
