Howdy guys;

I have a .... load of M401 style (10 double sets). I got 20 complete e-cigs for $100.00. They're the e-health "cheapies" that I bought as back ups, but surprisingly they all work great. Not a dud in the bunch, and occasionally I set my others aside for a rest, and use the 401's. I just gave 10 of them to my brother-in-law, and he's vaping his ... off.

All the carts have a foil seal over a thin plastic seal covering the insert. The seal breaks when the atomizer bridge is pressed into them. They work, but only briefly. After I scrape the foil and plastic off, they fill nice and work pretty good.

Are all the 401 carts like this? (with the foil seals?)

My M401 carts from intellicig doesn't have a foil seal, only the standard silicon plug that when removed exposes the cart material directly.

Ahhaaa.......You answered my question!! The silicon plug would add cost to the manufacturing.
My 4081's have the plugs, but I paid a lot more for them.

Thanks......Exactly what I wanted to know.

Where did you get them from? I have a number of people interested, but not interested enough to spend out on an actual kit. 10 bucks would be about right for 'em, especially if I could use them as backup backups for my 401.

Deal Extreme. com. Now it's a single starter kit for around 10 bucks, or 9 bucks for 3 or more. Heres the page;

DealExtreme: $10.69 Electronic Cigarettes with Charger and 6-Refills Set (110V~220V AC) Free shipping too. ya can't go wrong if you want them for spares or handouts.

They're main page is here;
DealExtreme: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - Site-Wide Free Shipping (Page 1)

Mine are all good, but don't expect miracles for that price.

Nonono! Dealextreme cheapo is similar but not compatible with m401. Carts, atomizer, batteries, nothing will fit except the charger.

Where did you get that from? I have 20 of the cheapies, and they all interchange with my 401's and Intellacig EVO's.

Only difference I found is that the EVO carts are not the same diameter size as the 401's.

I have them both - evos and cheapies. The battery/atomizer threads are the same diameter but different length. Furthermore the cheapo battery is pressure type switch.
At least we agree that carts do not fit at all :)
Btw. the charger that came with Dealextreme's one is the best I've found so far. It charges m401/evo genius batteries for 30-40 mins and I think it charges them better.

I haven't had any problems matching them up together, myself. You are right on the switch issue. 401's are vacuum sensitive, and EVO's are sound sensitive, but that has no bearing on fitting them to the attys or chargers.

Some chargers will charge faster than others. It depends on the output of each.

I got a couple of those cheapies from Deal Extreme too. The atomizers outlasted the Evo and I crave the flavor of the liquid in the carts. I actually used a syringe and pulled out the liquid from a box of those and flavored some of my standard 555. It was so good. (yum)
Anyone know what type of flavor that is? I'll buy a gallon.
