I've seen a lot of comments from people (and have experienced myself) that sometimes, the draw on these can get really hard. You may even have problems drawing hard enough to activate the battery switch. This is usually coupled with poor vapour.

One thing I have found, is that with these it really does make a difference which direction you fit the cartridges. If you look at the inner cartridge you will see it either has one or two straight edges, depending on the design, creating a gap. This is where the vapour is channeled. I have found that if you align these air gaps with the corresponding gaps on the atomiser (either side of the wire bridge), I get a much easier draw, and much better vapour. When it is aligned the other way, the draw is much harder.

Try it :)

The picture attempts to show what I mean (picture is of Evo parts, I assume the M401/2 carts are pretty much the same).

Thanks for the tip! Only thing for me, though, is that I can't clearly see where the gap in the inner cartridge is as it's too deep into the outer cartridge. I've always carefully pushed the inner cartridge right back down into the outer one - or is it that one needn't do that as the atomiser will push it down instead? But wouldn't not pushing it down then make the wool catch on the atomiser wire bridge (which it sometimes does anyway)?

Yes, good light and a pair of specs is more like it in my case, I'd guess! ;)

With the wool, what I meant was that I sometimes get a plasticky taste so I remove the cart and find the wool has come out of it and is stuck to the bridge, even when it's still got some liquid left. I don't know why this happens, but it's also "off topic" here, so no need to offer replies.

A little variation on dripping that some might prefer :

For the last couple of days I have been using an empty cart and taking it off and just 'Dipping' my Evo atomizer's wire mesh in a little pot not much bigger than a thimble...which has about 1mm height of juice in the bottom of it.......this has been giving me much less trouble that 'dripping' juice on the wire mesh.

Here's another tip if you're still having airflow problems:

Use the same method as if you were making your loose cart tighter but do it on the FLAT side(s) of your internal cartridge.

You're going to heat a sewing needle and melt a small channel down the flat side.

I've done this with a couple of carts, just now, and the difference in airflow is DRAMATIC. If you've got some carts that are just hard pulls, try it out!

(Be careful not to melt completely through...you don't want to wreck your carts.)

I took a photo of the results but my cam sucks ANUS so it's hard to make it out.
