Macros?

Are there macros I can set on these forums? I looked yesterday and couldn't find them. I used to help people a lot on a game forum in the past and found it helpful to use macros for common issues..then I could help someone with the click of my mouse instead of typing sometimes with very common issues asked about daily sometimes..I can see they would be helpful here and maybe I'm just missing them?

I haven't seen the feature as part of the forum, itself, but there is a FF extension called "Clippings" that is phenomenal for stuff like that. I found it indispensable when I modded other forums

I'll checkout FF extensions and clippings sometime once I'm 100% sure it's not on these forums..these forums are quite complicated with a lot of options and are different in a lot of ways to others forums I've posted on..also I ran some very small clan gaming forums when I used to game that I setup..thanks for the suggestion

Well macros would be of use when there is a common issue with ecigs like when the battery/cart or atomizers don't make a connection..I could set a macro (macro being just a pretyped response that I could choose when posting) explaining how to fix the issue and instead of typing the fix every time I just use the macro.

I used to use them a bit when helping on the Sony gaming forums. Although I haven't been on Sony's forums for awhile (do to protesting Sony's new user agreement last fall) I believe I could set 7 macros..I used to use 3 or 4 pretty regularly to help others with the game (Socom) when they came to the forums with issues.

Although if the forum had the feature I'm not sure how many would use them..probably just the more advanced members really.

lol, looks like macros would definitely come in handy in the pre-vets thread!

hope your idea succeeds, chrispy, and macros can be implemented.
