Been working on putting a small dog garden for our Chihuahua, Lucky. He was always wanting to get out front when we were sitting on the porch in the evening having a beer. I had a brain fart that we could make a little dog area for him to play in while we watched.

First thing we did was take out all the plants that were there, it was in bad shape, and there were 4 that were poisonous to dogs. Here it is after we removed the plants.

Then we had the stump removed. That was the most expense, $550  Should have had it removed when the tree was taken down, but the wife wanted it left to put stuff on. :-x Was neat how they did it, it was a remote controlled stump grinder, but still took them about 3 hours to get it ground and raked out.

Then we went and got some dog friendly plants, mulch, and other this and that's, here is how it turned out.

I think it turned out good for us amateurs. :w00t:
And Lucky Really likes it.

It's wonderful....did you make sure the mulch is safe for the baby? I'm sure you did, but it doesn't hurt to check. And, hopefully, he won't attempt to chew it. What good doggie parents you are....
