The ego style batts like the twist are all made in china as far as I know. There are plenty of highly regarded big battery mods made here, though. Super-T, Reosmods, Puresmoker, Provape, Evolv, and the list goes on and on. These are all much more expensive then an ego, but offer much better quality and after purchase support then anything made in china.

Do some reading in the REO sub-forum - you'll notice that it is one of the most popular vendor forums. If you buy a REO, you get a great community for no extra charge.

Reos Mods

Yeah, I'll give you that about the Reo forum. Another great vendor forum is Super-t's. Also, IMHO, the 2 best mods money can buy. That's why as soon as I get my super-t Precise ELA, I'm selling my VAMO and getting a Reo grande!

THANK YOU! I went to the vape shop and the owner who is awesome, BTW, made a little joke about the metal on my ego being from China. I'm a bit of a joker myself, so it was funny, but got me thinking that my next purchase is going to be American FOR SURE. I mean I made the switch from smoking, so might as well spend the saved $$$ on something nice :)

I will bookmark those makers.

I see a lot of people order units made in China. I haven't upgraded and I know my Twist is from China, but are there any upgraded mods/batteries/whatever you call it, made wholly in the USA?

My 2 ProVari Minis, Legacy, and Super T Precise ELA are all made in America.

I used ego's for a year b4 I got my first mod. At that time I thought I wanted several, there are so many coming out of china and the prices still tempt me. after a few months of collecting cheaper alternatives I realized, I don't want to be a collector, I want quality. If this means having 1 or 2 mods for the price of 10, so be it. because I know those 1 or 2 would be flawless and last much longer, and have a lot of support if anything should go wrong (though I'm switching from vv/vw to purely mechanical mods, not too much to go wrong with those.) The prices are much higher but, for example, Super-t back up all their devices with a lifetime warranty. Puresmoker, Reo and others have forums here where they are more than helpful to customers well after their 6 month warranties expire. It's hard for me not to get "Shiny-itis", but I just remember what I'm really looking for in a device and it makes the wait saving up for the quality devices a little easier.

The Saber Touch is hand made in the US, one at a time. Custom made and custom designed to order.

The Saber Touch
I own two, own a provari, own and/or have at least used for a period of time every major popular device. At this point in time, the saber is the only device of mine that sees regular use. However, I do take my provari out and about with me so I don't scuff up the paint on my saber. I don't really care if my provari gets a scratch.

I really like this, and I like the owners story. :)
