I figured I would let you know since I told you I would tell you what the flavoring was like....months ago it seems! Lol I finally got around to trying it outOooh...strawberry custard. Sounds delicious. I love custard vapes. Love 'em. I could pretty much add custard to anything and for me, that would make it better. But I love custard in real life--food life, I mean, lolEspecially Mexican Almond Custard. I don't have the recipe, but I had it a restaurant here once and ... oh GAWD. To die for. I'm not even a big sweets person. Something to think about for a juice, maybe, Dino? I think it's beyond my current DIY abilities, but I'm sure you could pull it off no sweat.
Ducky - Glad to hear your hazelnut came out awesome! Hard to go wrong with hazelnut and cream, to me, though... two of my fave flavors. I should test out my FA hazelnut flavoring next. I'm very slow going (only made the one recipe so far) but I'm excited to try the hazelnut. I've heard that particular hazelnut is "the single most accurate nut flavoring" on the flavor market. And it's supposed to have a toasted quality--which I think I will like. I'll let ya know when I get around to it!
I was speed mixing while the puppy was asleep, and it was pretty funny! He likes to "HELP" me do things... haha So it has been hard to sneak off to my (as my bf calls it) wizard station I agree, hazelnut and cream is awesome together!

Ha, that's funny- he "helps"! I've never actually had a puppy to take care of all by myself, but it sounds like having a two-year-old!
Btw, I'm glad I'm dipping into DIY too. Even though my first recipes were fairly successful, I know how easy it is to go wrong--just from mixing pre-mixed flavors and having it go really badly. And I'm sure I'll have a lot of crappy juice while I'm learning, but I have to say it's REALLY fun. I only wish I had a little more space. I should take a photo of the basically two square feet I'm using to do it now. It really needs a dedicated table or--better yet--a whole little room or alcove.
I mixed up some FA hazelnut and fa fresh cream and although it's not "bad"--it is definitely NOT the flavor that Dino uses. It's like super realistic hazelnut flavor, and to me, not as nice. But then I haven't yet it steeped, so I won't give up on it entirely. I mostly made it for my mom, and she seems to like anything nutty (she loves Madtown's "Going Nutz", for instance, while it's not my favorite), so she is happily vaping it.
Speaking of juice--I got two awesome freebies with my last order from Madtown: Strawberry Shortcake and Sour Puss.
I am loving the S.S.-- tastes like strawberries with maybe like that yellow-flavored cake? And a bit of something creamy. Yomyomyomomomomom. It's perfect for me.
Sourpuss smells exactly like grape soda, but tastes more complex. I guess it also has watermelon--if I remember the description right. I would take mine a bit more sour, to be like the name, but it's quite tasty as is.

Which is great! He still does not like to be left alone at all, so we hang out together all day...evening...and he sleeps close by if not with me at night...lol He is such a great puppy, and is making me a wonderful friend I have a cabinet I keep all of my vape stuff in, but I wish I had a reserved area that had a storage and desk that I could diy right there with everything together at my fingertips
