Questions regarding 808 ego from Madvapes

Hi,

I have been waiting on madvapes CS to reply to no avail so I am hoping that I will get an answer here.

I have bought a 808 theraded Ego from madvapes:

808 Black Ego Battery

I also bought some standard Ego cones, they don't fit!

I need somebody to help me as to where I can find cones for these.

Also, these batteries don't fit my 501 ego charger, I need a 808 to 501 adapter, but would I be able to use my standard 808 charger with this?

Is it that carto won't fit through the cone or the cone won't go over the carto? Down at the connector area on some cartos, they're a little bigger so it reuires the cone to go over the top after screwing it on to the ego battery..

As far as the charger, should work fine on an 808 charger but at 200ma output of a standard charger, it will take about 5 hours to charge a battery. You can use an 808 to 510 adapter also and charge on a 510 charger..

Hi Hoog,

The cartos fit in the cone just fine. The problem is the cone i ordered from you (pack of 3 ego cones, (10386 Black Ego Cone) won't fit on the 808 ego battery, different threading. Where can I find cones that fit the 808 Batt?

... as far as I can tell, there are no cones available for it, and the outside thread is indeed different than a Joye-type eGo. It's a fairly new battery I think, and only a couple of other sellers have anything similar. Your options are using either standard 808 cartos with no cone or the 808 Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer (Google it), which is a pretty nice carto that holds plenty of juice and performs well. The 1.6 ohm is the one you want, but make sure it's the 808 version, as it is also available for the Joye eGo (and MV has a great price on those cartos).

I know MV has the 808 eGo battery, but I couldn't find any real accessories on their site other than regular 808 cartos.

He suggests using the 510 eGo charger with an adapter and that's 420mAh..with the eGo charger they charge up in around 2 hours sometimes less...
