Madvapes: Poor customer service response

I recently received a Smoktech DCT tank from MadVapes with a faulty o-ring (part of a $47 order). When informed of this their response:

"I apologize but we do not sell or carry the o-ring separetly. I would suggest Home Depot or Lowes may have it" (Exact quote).

Absolutely no offer to exchange or give credit for the defective tank, or even an offer to give some kind of credit to go buy the o-ring. It is such an inexpensive item that it seems absurd that they wouldn't do something to ensure customer satisfaction.

In the end, I will not make a issue of it other than this post and to boycott MadVapes, there are plenty of other suppliers out there who will probably appreciate my business more.

Well a week and no response. I still have a new tank with a bad o-ring and since I don't drive I doubt I will find my way to home depot anytime soon. It will remain in my kit unused probably for awhile reminding me of this incident. In the last couple weeks I have spent $500 on vaping (crazy, I know) including 2 mods and a huge amount of misc devices and consumables. I can bet that had things gone differently I would have spent at least $100 at MadVapes since they do have a lot of stuff available from one site for decent prices and that is convenient. And probably continued to spend money there for a long time. Instead I will continue boycott their store and recommend to my fellow vapors to spend their money elsewhere. What appears to be a managerial policy to deflect or deny support on their products is a counterproductive policy. Had their response been different they would have had an as equally loyal supporter and customer for the small cost of whatever their wholesale cost is on a $10 tank.

We got some o-rings in. Log a ticket and put attention Paul. In the message say hoog said to send some replacement rings.

O-rings have been sent, I assume I will soon have them. While took them an awfully long time to do anything, they did in the end take care of the problem. Now I just got to figure out what cubbyhole I threw that tank in.
