Magneto locking ring just spins around and around

Hey peps, I have a version 1 Magneto and all of a sudden the locking ring just spins around and around. It will go down so the mod won't fire but the ring just spins around and around and around. It won't stop at a certain point like it does when the mod was brand new and mine is only about 3 months old.

Is there a way to fix it, taking it apart somehow or can you buy just the bottom button for it somewhere?

Try taking the switch apart and tightening up the little brass ring that holds the switch in. It loosens up all the time on my magneto

PBusardo did a YouTube video on this. If that ring comes completely loose (falls off inside the switch) the mod fires and continues to fire until you get that brass ring back out of there. Just a word of caution...
Mine comes loose all the time so I check it every few days or whenever it doesn't fire right.
