Magneto or turtleship clone?

Having trouble deciding between the smok magneto and the new turtleship clone for my first mechanical mod. There doesn't seem to be much information on the turtleship clone because it seemed to be a limited release. If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated.

It's been my experience that clones need a little tweaking to get them to work. The Magneto is good to go from the beginning and will likely stay in your rotation when you get more in the future. The damn thing never fails. It was my first mech, if you couldn't tell.

I think I just got too excited they made a clone of the turtleship, 101vape had it for a day or 2 and it sold out. That thing looks like sex.

For a first time mechanical mod the Magneto is where it's at! The thing is great, takes batteries from 350-650, the V2 has an adjustable pin and the magnetic switch will last forever. I started off with one and recently my brother switched to the mech. world by buying one too. You should be able to find one for around 40$. Make sure you buy the version 2. This version has the adjustable pin in the top cap which allows any atomizer to sit flush and make contact. It also doesnt have the giant smok logo on the tube, but that part is just preference. I love my magneto , was flawless out of the box . super smooth and that magnetic button is crazy smooth. this is my favorite mod that i own. stays at home by the couch because Id hate to drop or lose it lol ... used a turtleship down at the vape shop the other day ( not the clone )wasnt all that impressed. was cool ish but about it.

Magneto hands down. The clone is great right out of the box, no needing to fiddle with it to make it work right.

The original is probably the best mech mod for the price.

I also have the magneto and love it. Works fantastic and has a simple, clean look. All the threads are clean and operate smoothly.

I can't speak to the Turtle Ship clone, but I have a genuine one, and it vapes like a train. My advice is to get the Magneto, and save up for the real-deal Turtle Ship. I don't have a Magneto, but I've vaped on a friend's and it was a stellar little beastie. Good luck and vape on!

My first Mod was a Magneto and I topped it with a RSST atomizer. You will enjoy it. Good Luck

If you get the magneto make sure you get the one with the adjustable pin not the floating pin. I had purchased the one with the floating pin and the spring in the pin failed after 4 days. I had to purchase the top cap with the adjustable pin and I don't think it will ever fail

I have a Magento too, a V2 but it has the Smok logo on the side. No spider etching on the button and I also noticed that on the locking ring, I don't have the 1938 under "magneto"

Nevertheless, my first mechanical and as happy as can be
