For a first time mechanical mod the Magneto is where it's at! The thing is great, takes batteries from 350-650, the V2 has an adjustable pin and the magnetic switch will last forever. I started off with one and recently my brother switched to the mech. world by buying one too. You should be able to find one for around 40$. Make sure you buy the version 2. This version has the adjustable pin in the top cap which allows any atomizer to sit flush and make contact. It also doesnt have the giant smok logo on the tube, but that part is just preference. Good luck!

I have a Magento too, a V2 but it has the Smok logo on the side. No spider etching on the button and I also noticed that on the locking ring, I don't have the 1938 under "magneto"

Nevertheless, my first mechanical and as happy as can be ;)
