A local B&M has the Galileo for about $40 and i really like the size. The build quality also seems really good. Ive also handled the Magneto and it felt loose in comparison. The Galileo also has a floating connection pin IIRC and the Magneto is a fixed pin.

I don't really need it but at that price, i would not mind getting one before they are sold out. Neither smok Tek or Tech websites even have any info on them anymore and i don't see many reviews on the Galileo.

Is there any reason the Magneto is superior to the Galileo?

Yeah, $40 at a B&M? If I'd run into that, I'd be looking at a Galileo instead of a Magneto V2 on my table right now. Also, yeah, the Magneto's tube is kind of loose. Th V2 does have the adjustable/floating center pin, but you have to buy an after market top cap for eGo threading, as opposed to Galileo, which comes stock with it. I'm still tempted to get a Galileo too. Of course, as a total geek, I had to own a mod named Magneto, that has a Spiderman (seriously Firefox? Spiderman wasn't in your dictionary? I'll fix that right up) logo on the button... lol

I'm using a galileo with a kick 2 and sometimes while i am pressing the button, there are short pauses in between like it's going on and off. When im not using the kick it fires normally. Any suggestions?

Make sure your kick is making a good connection to the body of the mod.

Even though the Kick 2 has the best ground pin set-up there is... you still may need to shim it opposite the ground contact to insure a good ground... 'cause that sounds like what's happening. No ground - no workies very well, or, at all.

You can double and even triple shrink tube the entire kick, or some have used a section of carto condom to shim it over. What ever non-conducting thing you can come up with.

Since we're already off topic, was it you who shrink tubes batteries, Flux? If so, which tubing do you use?

Thanks a bunch guys. I thought it looked and felt like a good quality product for the price. Im happy with my MVPs but i would still like a simple mechanical mod that feels solid. The Galileo felt like what i want and i like the stainless finish. The same place has Bolts on closeout for about $25 but the Galileo keeps calling to me.

Finally arrived from Madvapes. At $39 the value is tremendous, and the build quality makes it really worth it. Paired with a Kick it hits very nice. Perhaps I was surprised at the threads, not quite "buttery" smooth, but will be once noalox is applied. The aesthetic beauty of the Galileo makes the Magneto look like it's ugly cousin.

The last pic is paired with an 18350 & Kick, while the one just before is an 18650 no kick all attached to a Davide BCC.

They do look really nice IMO. It would be nice if you could KICK a 18650 but i don't see many mechanicals you can except for some of the more expensive options. It probably would not take much to make a longer sleeve if you have the skills/equipment to make one.

Congrats
If you have certain Sigelei models (8W, 19 etc), you can Kick it with an 18650 without spending much money. Scroll down to the 10th item, the SD & #19 combo tube set. Or, buy a head and button assembly, and build your own 8W/SD/brass 19 "Frankenmech" . ;-)

Thanks for the link. Those are nice too. Bolts also look like you can add two of the spacers and get enough room for a kick/18650 but i prefer the look of the Galileo and magnetic switch. It seems like someone could make longer tubes for various brands and make a nice profit.

Whats the longest you can kick a Galileo? Is it the 350 or 500?

Without the threads showing, 18500. However, you can kick it with an 18650, 2 layers of threads showing. Not nice, but it will work in a pinch!
