What do you think about the magneto v2 with the adjustable center pin, I plan on getting one as my first mech mod....I will be using it mainly with a pyrex splashtank.....I only use cartos for now, I plan on gettin into rba eventually but not just yet. Oh and whatever mech I do get I plan on using the kick 2 with either an 18490 or 18500.

I've had my v1 for a dew days now and it is wonderful. I see why people swear by mechanicals. I don't have the adjustable center pin, but really isn't important to me. For the money, you can't go wrong with this mod. Love the magnetic center pin and Grimmgreen was sooo right about the lock, smooth and easy. Mine isn't crooked, as I have heard some people reporting. It isn't that I don't love my eVic anymore, it's just that I hit the button and vape, no 'fiddliness'. Just my two cents. Good luck and have fun! P.S. I only run about 1.5 ohm devices on it, so I can't speak to the sub-ohm crowd.

before you buy a silver bullet, just look into this, but if im not mistaken altsmoke is testing and possibly* planning on putting out a fully mechanical silver bullet. Looks exactly the same just the button would be mechanical rather than an electric switch.
I'm currently leaning toward the Magneto rather than the SB, but that would make the SB more appealing to me. Thanks for the heads-up, Kenichi! It's worth investigating.

Not only is it planned, it is going to be reality soon. I had the pleasure to try the prototype at Altsmoke, and it really is a sweet mod. If you want a silver bullet, you might want to wait. Even if you don't require a true mechanical I am sure the original will go down in price when the new one is released.

Will, I agree with you wholeheartedly on the N-zonic. I have four EHPRO clones. They're ALL outstanding. Comparing them to the serialized Sentinels I have I'd have to say the tolerances and execution are not too far apart. Fidelity to the original is another. Voltage drop under load, redic. They're volcano generators. So are the Electric Angel and GG clones.

There are two kinds of devices I readily travel with one is the EHPRO DHX028 N-zonic coupled with a Protank and the Kanger 3TS matched to a Magneto. But the latter I can go through two tanks without a care in the world. Great mech for newbs for the simplicity the Ego head provides eVod/3Ts/etc. users. And newcomers have a lot of these. The 3TS riding native often smokes a Protank for vapor and flavor. And I can chain on it to my heart's content with 100% VG Johnson Creek. No small feat for any tank. So a rewarding combination too anytime.

Have a great day.
