You can download something called shipping assistant from usps and purchase some labels with inexpensive scales and ur good to go...Just go to the post office and they will explain it all to you. I just spoke with them about it today but have not done it yet. Looks like the way to go for pif : )

I have a scale coming in just any day now and the stuff to ship out all the things from the HG order. My mail lady just thought she hated me before, lmao

On the shipping label...Do you have to buy the labels or can you just print it on paper and stick it on there with tape. They want $9 for 25 labels. Yes, I'm a cheapskate.

I send from home all the time. I usually guesstimate, and then over stamp, if in doubt. I did find out a couple things the other day at the post office.

If an envelope (regular) is bigger than 1/4 thick, it needs an extra 20 cents.

If a bubble envie is bigger than 3/4 thick, then it needs at least 2 stamps (88 cents) - if it's light.

^^ those prices have to do with whether or not it will fit through a certain sized slot, they are not based on weight.

Yep, this is how I used to ship stuff. Print labels, tape to box and schedule a pickup with FedEx or UPS. But actually, my guy at the Post & Parcel gives me better rates than a home FedEx or UPS pickup. Reason being is because he just has and ships more volume.

I just need to grab a new printer because mine bit the dust. It's way easier sending small stuff that can fit in the mailbox from home.

Did you download the shipping assistant thingee? It gives lots of options and you can get a delivery confirmation for just .19 Someone else told me about it but sadly I can't remember who. There has been so much going on here and my memory sucks. Thanks to whoever pointed me in that direction!
