thats what I'm trying to do Buster, so far the only way I'm finding is to download the Stamps.com thing. Which after the free trail has a monthly charge. (yaa)
Rose: a 6ml bottle of juice in a small padded envie shouldn't cost more than 2 stamps. I had one weighed last week, and that's all it cost (because of size, not weight)
The Post Office told me the minimum for the padded, bubble envelopes was 2, $.44 stamps and 2, $.17 stamps or 3, $.44ers is easier but $.10 more postage than needed... a donation. hehe
I received a package with something small, not larger than a 3ml bottle and it had postage due of $.34.
) but did tell me the sizes of the slots.Hey leannebug, hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day...missed you around here.![]()
Well, I finally broke down and bought a postal scale (10lb. max.) from the post office - $40. I just can't do the post office on a daily basis. It's cutting into my valuable lunch time and ECF browsing time at workI'm gonna try it out tonight when I get home.
I use the multi-shipping option on PayPal. That way you just pay for it with paypal funds or with your checking account if you have paypal connected to your checking account. You get the same discounts as shipping assistant, .19 delivery confirmation for first class - FREE if you send priority mail. It is easy to use, no fees and you can choose USPS or UPS depending on what you are shipping and how you want to send it.
I have been shipping from home for years and I have found this to be the easiest. I think it gives you 10% off of the shipping costs. Flat rate envelope with delivery confirmation is $4.75, so maybe that's only 5% but still. Then you have your mail man (or woman) pick everything up when they deliver the mail.
lol@walwort.. good oneI picked up a scale at walwort yesterday. They have a really nice one (with the postage rates right on it) for 25 bucks. but I'm cheap lol... found one in the bakewares aisle for 19. It looks to be the same, just have to try it out now![]()
