Does anyone else ever put the tiniest bit of Naolox or an equivalent on? I generally put a thin layer on with a Q tip, then wipe of excess with the other side of the dry Q tip so the tiniest bit remains. More so than the electrical conductivity I do this for added corrosion resistance given that area will be wet or damp for long periods of time, and even stainless steels with a lot of chromium can rust...but I am probably just being paranoid...

Yes, I believe so - noalox is sold on their site, and is part of the recommended maintenance if I recall correctly. I just got mine, which appears to have already had some put on before shipping to me (thanks!). I need to purchase some next order so I can reapply later.

You can get it at Lowes or Home Depot cheaper and in a bigger bottle.

Iv never used noalox on my provaris and never had a issue. You definitely dont want to put it on the atomizer side

Hey Str8,
I guess I am confused. I know about the Noalox on the threads for the battery cover. Are you saying to put it on the threads around the "well" as well?

Well that is what I thought. BUT look at post #7. I swear that NickZac is suggesting exactly that.

I was asking more than suggesting others do it, and noting that I do it myself. Chances are Naolox is toxic and so that is why the amount I put on was so minuscule. I would do it for the corrosion resistance and I assume even when you wipe it off some has bonded to the metal like Miltec.

I'd rather have my 510 connection corrode than risk vaping that stuff, personally! No offense intended, sir :)

Having said that, there's usually some amount of juice that has dripped down there and is (I think) coating the threads to some degree (until q-tip and alcohol time anyways lol).

Completely understandable...and it makes sense! After reading all of this, I think I will discontinue this :p
