Man, congratulations on one week! I'm about 2 weeks ahead of you and can't believe that I don't even think about smoking any more.

You can search the forums for any keywords you want to read about (just enter the terms in the search box in the upper right). But, I'm new here too, so can't offer too much advice on how to navigate.

Anyway, welcome, and good luck with the change.

Congrats! I'm 99 days since my last smoke. I started feeling better after about a week. Don't lock yourself into any LARGE containers of e-liquid, try some sample packs. For me, 5 weeks into vaping I no longer liked the juices I was vaping and didn't understand why. I learned that as your taste buds heal, you may get some strange flavors from juices you're used to, don't be alarmed, just be ready with some variety.... and DON'T GIVE UP!

Big Congratulations to you on your accomplishment! One week will turn into many in no time. I'm pretty new myself. I usually stop in here several times a day. I enjoy reading the posts in the new members forum, and also the General forum just below.

You can read almost anything on the forum, but you need to post 5 times here in the new members forum before you can actually post in the other forums.

Again, I share your excitement. I'm excited to be free of cigarettes myself after 40 plus years. I never thought it would happen, but hey, it has!

I myself am new to the whole vaping thing and enjoying it. I was a smoker for almost 28 years. I quit 6 weeks ago and have never looked back. Spent lots of money initially on cig-a-likes and disposables. Just purchased my first real PV a few days ago and wish I would have done that in the beginning. Congrats on your decision and welcome.

I know this is a large forum so rather than asking a lot of questions, can someone direct me to where on the site I would find a Ïndex of Topics"? I am very excited and proud of my 1 week accomplishment :) Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. I purchased a KangerTech Mini Protank-II :)

Hiya! :)

The broad list of forum categories is right there every time you log in. => http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/forum.php That will also come up using the Forum tab at the top left of any page.

But if that gets to be overwhelming - this is a big place - feel free to ask if you have any particular categories you are interested in that you can't seem to find there.

You can read almost anywhere you want. But in order to post anywhere else on the forum you gotta get those first five posts in here in the New Members forum. Don't be shy - if you have questions this is the place to start asking for info.

Welcome!

Congrats 6 pack:toast: Is that beer or Abs? Wait till you start to taste the beer better and you spend that money your saving,on better beers,to satisfy your new found taste buds. April will make 3 years, since I quit smoking, after 35 yrs. I went from Blu,ego,Vamo,to a Provari. I now make my own juices and save a ton of money. You will find what works for you and there is a plenty of items, for everyone's taste. for me it was the Provari and carto-tanks. I was a heavy smoker 2 1/2 PAD. The thing is, don't give up. If you have something that does not work for you try something new. 3 years in,out of the blue I will get hit with a craving for a cig,but it passes quickly. I went from a 250.00 a month habit,to about 40 a month. Good luck to you!

Today is my second day without a cigarette. Been vaping for 6 months now and cut down a lot. I smoked for 32 years, heavy.
I'm having major anxiety issues today. :( Please, tell me this gets better!!!!! I use 24 mg with WTA.

Hey Atchafalaya, keep strong brother!! it will get better, I can guarantee you that. You gave up a 32 year habit, so you cant expect to give up the smokes without some anxiety. I only smoked for 6 years (since I was 16) and I had some anxiety when I quit. It will get a little easier every day, just don't give in! and I started off on 24mg and am now down to 6 after only a few months of vaping, so trust me things get better. And you will start loving the good side effects that come from quitting :) pretty sure I gained a few lb's once food started tasting stronger lol

You should be proud, congratulations! All the ex smokers know you have been through the worst of it. I'm a little over 3 months now and I don't even think about smoking any more. I am now a non smoker. My first suggestion would be to put out of your mind what you think you will like as far as flavors go. You will be surprised, I am sure. I know I was. I love Mt Baker Vaper for juices, and there are a few others but they are cheap and a great place to try some juice cheaply. Again congrats, and keep it up.
