After 30+ Years smoking cigarettes this is week 3 of vaping! I work in a high stress job, I have 6 kids, inlaws/outlaws... a huge family and a lot of debt and stress and YES I stopped smoking :) My cigarettes are still open on my nightstand with a lighter on top and I look at them and don't want them! I have a bit of advice for other newbies, if I may:

I started from the beginning with a KangerTech Mini Protank-II and a 650 mah battery.
I chose a variety of juice sample packs from a few vendors all sweet flavors.
I chose the lowest Nicotine level, knowing that I can always go UP if needed but may not want to go DOWN if I start with the strongest.
I am still at the lowest Nic level after being a 1-1/2 to 2 pack a day heavy smoker!
I've enjoyed the sweet flavors because it's a variety of pleasure vapeing experience. If I wanted to taste tobacco, I'd light one of these cigarettes on my nightstand.

I'm a non smoker for life. I already know that :p no more tobacco/smoke for me! Good luck to all of you!!

Welcome to ECF and congrats on being on week 3 without analogs. Seems like you've found gear and juices that work for you. That is fantastic. Isn't it great to order sample packs from vendors to discover what we truly enjoy? I'll be ordering another sample pack this weekend as well as some other supplies. I've discovered a handful of flavors that I like (vaping a kiwi-strawberry blend as I type) and there are still so many other flavors to try. So many flavors, so little time.

I hope your vaping experience continues to grow and that you continue to enjoy it, one vape at a time. Namaste.

Watch out for the big 3's

Day 3: It seems complicated and you doubt if it's going to work. You still have cravings and you don't feel so great.

Hang in there! Drink tons of water and read this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hen-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html

Week 3: Nothing works right. Batteries won't hold a charge and clearos leak and you can't taste anything.

Relax!! Read the forum, ask questions! That's your addiction talking.

Month 3: Boredom sets in, not as great as it seemed in the beginning.

Hang around the forum. I think the support of others goes a long way in success. Join one of the groups. Get active in CASAA. Go to a Vape Meet. Better yet, hang around and help new members!
