Thread title pretty much says it all. I got the idea from a guy on YouTube who used the outside of a ballpoint pen. Too crude for me lol.
Thread the over-wrap wire through a dispensing needle (I had some 23 AWG on hand and that size works perfectly). Use the standard fishing snap swivel on the far end of the wire to be wrapped. Get the Clapton started and then just hold the tip of the dispensing needle right at the wire to be wrapped. I find the 23 AWG needle puts the perfect tension on the over-wrap wire but if it's needs more tension, use a pinky to tension it as it goes into the needle. Spin the drill and presto, a Clapton is created.
