make your own passthrough

I've made a couple mods already.. I would like to make a passthrough.. on the wires for a USB... anyone know what wires I use to go to the connector? Is the black wire the ground or the metal mess around the inside casing?

The positive (red) goes in the center of the atomizer where its raised (end where battery would plug in) and negative (black) goes on the outer casing/metal ring.

A Usb passthrough was the first mod I made, Good luck mate! =)

Never thought of making my own pass thru!! I've been pricing the commercial ones but I'm not impressed!

Ill re-try it that way.. it didn't work when I tried it a month ago.. ill triple check my soldering connections and give it another go.

When I made mine I was able to just check the connections without soldiering them first.

It will vape without solder, the wires just have to have contact. Good way to test.
