I mix my tobacs 100mls at a time in glass jars then pour into a 50ml jug for use. Once I cut into the 100 I then make another so its already steeped when it comes time to use. I build my wife's juice 200mls at a time since she goes through @200mls a month, I cut her juice into 4-50's then build the next 200 so its ready. I also have my vape desk downstairs so its cool in the summer and cooler in the winter, cool enough that I have to heat up my VG to spin it in my magnetic mixer. This is just how I mix and after 2 years, so far no complaints from my 1 customer.
You should look into "seed steeping" it does speed up steeping by putting in some previous juice @10% into a new juice. I've been doing seed steeping for a long time now.

Interesting! I LOVE Strawberries and Cream as both a straight vape on the go or as an ingredient in a few different recipes Ive got. You mentioned that all the flavors you used were TFA, have you tried the Capella Strawberries and Cream. Thats the one I use and its delicious(for my palate anyway).

I've never used any flavorings other than TFA...I'm one of those people who figures out what I like and then sticks with it. Lol.

First time I've heard of seed steeping. I'll have to read up on it. Thanks for the tip!
The mention of magnetic mixers got me doing some searches. I've seen some well reviewed magnetic heating stirrers floating around for reasonable prices. Might pull the trigger on that down the line.

@Riplea Right on, man. Hope you like it as much as I do. :thumb:

I use the Mixer that came with the Liquid Barn DIY Starter Kit. And still using everything I got with that first purchase but I will admit making the 1,400 ML's of e-Liquids you can make with the kit sure went faster than I ever though. Lots of orders of flavors, VG/PG and Nicotine since!

$6 for Liquid Barn's handheld mixer. Sounds like it's worth a shot. :)
I'm betting it wouldn't fit in my flasks, but I should probably get some beakers in the inventory anyway.

There's been discussions about juice shelf life several times here on ECF. 2 years at room temp was the general estimate based on people who were vaping old vendor juices stored in the closet. I guess they ran out and had to vape old stuff until the USPS truck arrived and they reported their anecdotal experience.

Kept in a cool place, I wouldn't worry about juice that tasted good when sampled after storage. Nic, PG, and VG all have long shelf lives. Flavors could vary depending on what's in them. I recently tossed out some cookie flavored juice. It was a really dark, black vendor juice that just didn't smell right after a couple of years in the closet. Some juices don't change much and others go bad.

I mix 6 x 50ml about once a month. That's about 100ml more than I vape in a month, but I get long steep times that way. I'm vaping some FA Virginia right now that I mixed up in September 2016. It's much better than it was when it was a month old.

I make 300ml for my wife (grape candy) and 200-300ml each of cinnamon churro and strawberry vanilla custard for me every 4-6 weeks. We go thru about 200-300ml each a month.

My juices are good right away or with a short (1-2week) steep. It only takes me about a half hour to mix 2-3 different juices, so I don't bother making litres at a time. Plus I enjoy doing it.:)

I mix in my kitchen and use a glass mixing cup and a teaspoon to stir. Not exactly a sterile lab environment. ;)

I have been known to mix right in the syringe or the bottle and just shake like a mad man if I'm rushing. Otherwise I use short mason jars that have been oven sterilized!

I just ballpark it now. I measure the nic exact, but the flavours are just close enough. Then I free pour my PG/VG into the measuring cup.

If anyone can tell the difference between 5ml of one flavour vs. 6ml in a 250ml batch, they are a better ejuice connoisseur than I.

I usually do a 375ml batch, with 30ml of flavoring and 30ml of 100mg nic. That's about a month supply for my wife and I. With the mint/menthol blend I use, making a bigger batch would be fine as it holds up well, but my monthly mixing only takes about 15 minutes including cleanup. Most importantly, my batch size also fits nicely in the Absolut vodka bottle I mix it in.:D
