I drip the vast majority of the time and have done so with many attys and liquids. Unless this liquid has some type of special characteristics, there would be no reason as to why that should be happening.

The only time I see leaks is because too much liquid has accumulated in the atty and it is also a sign that the atty performance is starting to drop off. I blow it out really well, dry burn it in a well ventilated area and continue doing so until I see the vapor taper off. I should mention, I dry burn it rather aggressively using a 5v device. 10 seconds on and 2-3 seconds off. Many times, as the "gunk" burns off the atty leaks even more. Then, I wait for it to cool and drip 4-5 drops.

I should also mention:
1. I dry burn more aggressively if the atty is older. That way, I don't mind too much if it burns out.
2. I always carry a spare
3. If I am at home I would do this and then proceed to clean the atty, especially if it is newer.

Today I received a bridgeless LR atty in my vapemail and I've been using it for about 2 hours now. I intentionally left the cone off so I could keep an eye on it, there is absolutely no leaking, not even a bit of condensation!!!!!!!!
I don't know what brand it is, it doesn't say on the site but I am so excited!!!!!!! It's this one here:
Edited because I put the wrong link:

Sounds more like over dripping. Wait until taste and vapor production dwindle before you drip more into the atomizer. And each time you drip be sure to vape what you dripped before putting the e-cig in your pocket or down.
Not every bottle releases the same amount of liquid in drops and your bottle may be giving you more per drop than you think.
Kinda like a buffet but with dripping. Only drip what you have time to vape! LOL Good luck.

Try one of these (drip tip)

With one of these (306 dripper atty)

The orange part slides off. Then you replace it with the drip tip that slides down all the way and seals the atty against leaks.

I buy Joye LR Atty's from Clouds of Vapor (for my 3.7 mod). They seem to work the best for me. I always pre-clean them, then drip about 6 drops. Then I refresh with 2 drops at a time as needed.

I actually learned how to tell the right amount to drip by sound. After dripping, hold the PV with the atty close to your ear and press the button. A smooth white noise sound means you didn't put enough in. A gurrgling sound means you put too much in (in which case just take the atty off and blow some juice out into a napkin). A crackling static sound means you got it just right!

Works for me anyway. I almost never have leaks doing it this way. YMMV.
