those who are unhappy with their sigs don't be afraid to tell me either. sometimes i miss the mark, and i'm usually aware of it myself. i'll happily make a new one for those who have one already. don't be shy. i welcome requests for redo-s, though they will probably be delayed until first-timers get theirs.
off to eat and do some runnin' around, be back in a bit to check out any requests for my final sig making adventure tonight and tomorrow.

Jive-I think you can get the idea of where I am trying to go with mine. Ultra clean, grayscale, modern/contemporary.

Copy the link you want to hook up.
Go to your User CP (control panel) where you inserted your picture.
Highlight the part that says "SIGPIC" "SIGPIC" (including the bracketts)
Then click the link button above the signature box (little world with chain)
Insert link, Paste (or Ctrl V, enter, enter)
Click Save
You now have a link with your banner
Insert what link? I did all of that but it asked me for a url.

Ok, this is to make your banner into a link (like if you click my banner, it takes you to my blog.
To do that
1. go to whatever you want your banner to link to: your homepage, this page, google, whatever it is.
2. highlight the web address that is in the browser
3. right click, copy
Now,
4. go to your user control panel on ECF
5. click the link that says "edit signature"
6. highlight the words in your sig box that says "sig pic" "sig pic" and don't forget to highlight the brackets too = [ ] (so from one end to the other.
7. click the link button at the top of the sig box (it has a little world and a chain link)
8. when the box pops up, hit "ctrl" and the "v" button.
9. click "enter"
10. click "save"
Now your new banner should link to the page you want. Should I post pictures? Any visual learners here?

You almost got it Paula. You must have "unhighlighted" the "http:" that was in the little link box.
So you ended up with a link that takes you to http://http//
After step #7 ONLY click "control V" OR
hit the back button until all the writing is erased,
then do the "control V"
(to fix it: go to your user control panel
highlight the sig pic/sig pic again
click the world/link button again
take out the doubled http stuff (http//)
save)

Hi Jive, I would so love for you to make me a sig, your work is beautiful! I live in Florida and LOVE the beach so anything with beach, palms, tropical flowers, smoky mist...etc would be great. plerskine /and July 2010 /carpe diem however you want to write it
