Ah thanks and I was gonna try URL tags but didn't know how to get to "html view". Well technically it's "bbcode view" :) Not used to these dumbed-down forums. I keed! I keed! ;)

Here's a good list of most of the things you can do with tags, by the way. As for an image host there are many great free options to photobucket for the folks who may not be aware. One I prefer is imgur.com.

Beautiful high res banner, btw. I will swap mine out shortly. However, right now I need to fire up some Bad Company 2. :D

OK heres in depth how to link to a remote signature

First upload your banner to a site I choose photobucket. Once you do, copy the direct URL as shown below

THen go to settings on top of the ecf forum

Once you get to your settings menu select Edit Signature on the left

Then you will see the screen below

Select the icon in the corner showing two As as shown below

you will now see

Click on the image icon as shown

you will get a popup

4.png

paste in the URL you copied at the begining from photobucket and click the OK button

you will see

5-1.png

select all the text in the box and click the link ICON

65.png

Put http://www.backwoodsbrew.net in the box and press ok

now you see this

save the signature and you should be set.

NOTE: Please upload to your own photbucket and do not link from mine. Too many people doing this will use all my bandwidth.

I can't get my counter thingy to work either with the banner.

You have to take the link out of the bar and put it in as a image. it will look like this

Note the space in http:// This is so it will show up. Take it out you get

pKSFH

You HAVE to use goo.gl to shorten it otherwise the forum will not accept it.

You also have to LINK the image you CANNOT upload it to ECF
