It'll be great if they are....gives another option to local vapers.

Personally, I prefer big-batt mods. My Reo runs for at least 36 hours before I need to charge the battery. I also only need to refill my juice bottle once every 2 days :)

I guess the biggest advantage with big-batt mods is the fact that replacement batteries are cheap and easily replaced. With a generic PV device, the battery is often part of the device itself. With a mod, it's just like changing the AA batteries in any electrical device. The 18650 3.7 volt batteries I use with mine are about $8 a pair (including shipping!).

Most manufacturers for the e-cigs are from China. Little is known yet of other manufacturers outside China. Take the ego battery from Janty for example, the price is $20.00 but suppliers from China is offering $15.00 and some below. Thats a huge difference. 510 atomizer is priced $10.00 while from China you get $7.00 for regular and $5.00 for LR. Again that's a huge difference of x10. So I'll prefer ordering direct from China.

Given the chance if Janty selling retail, is not going to be cheap but maybe the same price as online. I will give them the full support as setting up is not easy. And maintaining a Webshop require only little capital. Maybe that just me but what do u think? Buying from china is cheap but the products may not be well regulated for costume etc.

i respectfully disagree with the statement that suppliers want to promote the cigarette looking kind of PVs...my supplier i've listed in earlier post personally persuaded me to avoid those as i wanted to upgrade from Smoker Haven to 510, in the end I tested the eGo and got the eGo instead of the 510...if i didn't know or if he didn't ask that i try the eGo, i'd be dissapointed again just like smoker haven

Smoker haven in tesco told My friend that the eGo design won't sell well and They discontinue the model. Weird things that said out from a noob. Anyway I don't like smoker haven. I seriously think that if Janty selling the eGo there, the concept will change. This will bring smokers out of the cigarette design. I think maybe that salesman tatic but is a poor one.

Since your supplier suggested to you to avoid those cigarette looking device, it is clear that most suppliers are targeting smokers into believing e-cigs as a better brand. It is those who have actually turned into vaping that the picture become somewhat different. Even Smoker Haven have those cigarette looking brand designed for smokers. They tried to sell a starter kit to me for RM300.00. Unfortunately for them, I was already into vape and I already knew.

To be honest, I haven't noticed any difference in performance with either battery. I've got about 15 different 18650 batteries at the moment....all different brands and all with different mAh ratings....but they're all pretty similar in performance. Some people swear by those IMR high drain batteries, but I've got a couple and they're not much better - just more expensive!

hope I can make my battery soon...since the eGo batteries are not that cheap to replace, plus if the batteries are dead with a mod, you can just pop in new batteries in your casing :)

my first mod with 18650...

so far nothing spectacular with this big battery ... when the voltage drop ... the performance is so so only ( same like ego) ... will make another soon ... using another type of flash light.. with 14500 ...

none of the canggih material... even got no LED heh heh ... maybe i should study more on how to get consistent wattage... there must be a key to consistent vape until the battery stop, is the mosfet supposed to that ? .. currently i'm not so impress with this thing...

the 18650 is almost your best bet for long lasting battery ... but for my mod at least... long lasting doesn't mean constant power as per newly charged battery ...

So I went to Jalan Pasar in hopes of finding the electronic components to build my own battery. Apparently they got nothing useful there except for switches, bread board, resistors, capacitors, and multimeters. The key components like switching regulator and trimmer wasn't there. Good thing that abechik found RS Malaysia | World Leading Distributor of Electronics, Electromechanical and Industrial Components over here they have all the key components. However I figure a battery mod is going to cost around RM130-150 including materials to build the casing. Schucks, that means I can only try it in a month or two since I'm placing a huge order from e-liquid.cn this week...hahaha nvm2, i can wait for the battery mods

i saw their kit but they use mostly LDO regulators which are not very efficient and waste a lot of battery into heat thus I've ordered samples from Texas Instrument for their switching regulators. :)

Madvapes kit is cheap but the cost excludes the batteries and shipping...The cost I've calculated is battery included and takes 18650 batts, not 14500. Are you using any of these mods? How are they performing?

I'm very tempted to just buy their 2AA box mod kit to try and put it together....just to get the hang of it. I've got very little electronic knowledge, so I figure this will be a pretty good place to start. I've already got a mess of batteries for my other mods along with chargers, so I don't have to worry about those.

I have a friend who bought one of their ready made box mods and he's been using it for more than 4 months without any problems. Really good performance....the single batt lasts the entire day for him and the mod itself is not that big....pretty easy to carry around in a pocket.

As far as I know, they do ship to Malaysia.
