There is a learning curve for sure. I probably built 25 to 30 coils before I got the good ones I now build. I played around on and off for about 6 months while using other devices. I now have my technique down and can build a coil in minutes. I mainly use mech mods with RBAs now. Hang in there it takes time. By the way Rip Trippers has the best youtube vids on building coils.

Seems your problem is frustration. I know of very few people who got builds on what you mentioned right on the first try. Or the second. Sometimes, even on the fifth.

You gotta pay your dues, waste your wire, cotton, and juice like so many of the rest of us did. It's called experience, and it isn't cheap or easy.

As to a Kayfun being so much easier, you are going to be in for disappointment. If you don't have the patience to get a Fogger right, I'm sorry to say you will have no better luck with a Kayfun. It took me 5 tries to get a Kayfun right.

Not being a jerk, just honest. You need to keep at it.

It's defintiely easier to learn with a dripper. Get your wicking and coil placement down pat, where it is easy to change. Then when you go back to your tanks it's just a matter of mastering the tails.

Oddly enough Verb, I have a Mophesto dripper which, as I understand it, is one of the easiest attys to build on. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.

I think the kayfun is one of the easiest. That was my first RBA.
