What do you do with a disposable when it dies?!?
How do you "Field dress" a disposable e-cig?!?
Above is what I toss in the trash at the end of the month!!
    + 1000

Personally I think disposables are an addition to an already huge trash problem. The metal and plastic it takes to make a device, plus the LIon battery in it, makes me shudder more than seeing cig butts on the ground. OTOH though, I know a few people personally and am aware of more than a few here that use these devices and that's their prerogative and I have no negative feelings about that. To each their own..

    Or any human being.

The problem isn't nicotine; it's those who seek a monopoly over it.

    (They have their reasons.)

    Good luck. :)

If you look into it deeply enough, you will notice that the ones at the top are that way due to dna and they all come from 2 different tribes. It never fails. Wikipedia divulges this information without knowing it for most of these people. Other research methods are needed for the rest. The ones below them doing their bidding are coerced and blackmailed into doing so.

    But I digress.

I was in a 'mental institute' a few years ago for 5 or 6 days. During that time I did not have my vape or even use the nicotine patches they supplied. I had no urges or 'feelings of need' or anything for a toke off my vape for the time I spent there. Also during that time, I drank 2 or 3 cups of coffee. One day I didn't have any coffee. I had a headache that night when I went to bed.

I'm not that strong. Back when I had to go into the "mental institution" and I couldn't have my vape, I freaked out. Of course, i had been told i could have it and i had been without sleep for 24 hours. Anyway it got me one of those shots and demotion into a more secure unit. I had my mom bring me some cigarettes, a night's sleep, and I was better. A few years later, when I had to go back again, I was prepared. I came with cigarettes. Each time I was discharged, though, I dropped the cigarettes and went back to vaping.

Surprisingly, or not, I guess 30+ years of smoking and 4 or 5 years of vaping hadn't gotten me addicted enough to nicotine. Now, I have been drinking coffee for only the last 2 decades (give or take a year or a few..) though and although I don't get any 'cravings' for it if I don't have any, I'll damn sure end up with a near-splitting headache if I don't have at least a cup or two during a 15-18 hour period of being awake.

When I was a kid my father regularly tried to persuade me not to start smoking. He went through hell himself when he quit smoking a pipe. He used to tell me the story of a guy he worked with who had quit smoking cigarettes. He carried his last half pack of cigs in his pocket for 10 years, used to take it out and show people whenever the topic of quitting cigs came up. One night they were in the pub after work, for no particular reason he pulled the pack out and lit one up. It was so old and dry that it burned all the way down in a few seconds and the one drag he took made him choke, but he immediately went to the bar and bought a pack. That was it, he was a smoker again. I guess the point of the story was that once you became a smoker you were always a smoker even if you quit for a while, like an alcoholic.

I've known a few non-smokers who tried vaping but as far as I know none of them became hooked and carried on vaping or moved on to cigs. They were all older though, maybe it could happen if you did that as a teenager.

The longest 12 minutes I have ever experienced right there. Very hard stick through it, but I did it. He epitomizes exactly why I avoid vloggers on youtube.

This guy has identity issues, which is common in young folks and older folks who don't socially mature well. He's also a philosophical train wreck.

Nothing about his problems are nicotine or vape related. Whatever his friends are doing, he will try to identify with that and will find issue with it due to his inability to see the actual underlying problem and correct that instead.

If it was just this guy in a vacuum maybe the argument would stand.. However - go to the comments, there's hundreds of them saying they share his experience. After seeing that - I found another 20-30 videos that not all were about disposables but all were hooked on vaping.. The one ingredient in all of them were nic salts.. I don't demonize any the products however to pretend this isn't a problem isn't honest (IMO).

I certainly don't want to be on here saying vaping is bad as it saved my life and I credit this forum for helping me along the way.. What I'm saying is I am not happy to here people (primarily young people) pick up a nicotine habit from vaping that they wouldn't have had otherwise.

edit.. I found this article as I never actually looked into the numbers.

Alternate addiction: 1.9 million US e-cig users have never smoked cigarettes

What a waste of 12 minutes... If he had such a hate on for Nicotine then why on earth would he even take up vaping. The 2.5% (25mg/ml) was somewhat justifiable... :?:

"I've seen my friends die from heroine, so I would NEVER use it but then someone offered me a Hydrocodone tablet and I thought wow, this is can't be that bad..."

ANTZ are all over the place. All over. And they work for free. Remember that. Vaping and nicotine are a bigger target today than they were just 3 months ago. I see there is an increase of anti-nic posts on reddit recently. Not a coincidence this is happening on the heels of the USPS ban and coming federal nic tax. Don't be so gullible. The US government has access to unlimited resources provides by the fed. This has become evident now in the bast 18 months. These criminals and their overlords don't even need your tax dollars anymore, but they still steal if from you anyhow. Between that and these volunteer ANTZ, they are hellbent on spreading disinfo and outright lies to squash vaping.

At the end of the day you need put both things on a balance and see which way it tilts.
On the one side you have kids/adults addicted to nicotine and on the other side of the balance people who are alive because of vaping and future people that will be saved by it.

Seems an easy choice to me,kids/adults won't die from nicotine addiction but people WILL DIE from smoking.
Want to blame someone? Blame the parents for not doing their job of educating and parenting their kids.

16 year old kid dies from a car crash because his parents bought him a Corvette Z06 with 670 horsepower, who do we blame? General Motors or the Parents?

To blame the parents is the obvious answer.

That was my thought after watching the video that was accidentally posted in another thread. If he had so many addictions, what is his main problem? The guy could use some counseling.

Sorta off topic, but I think the TPD's regulation of juice not being available in bottles larger than 10 mls is related..

That is actually how i started smoking cigarettes.
Before that i tried one or two i stole off my mom,you know being a kid you're dumb and stupid so yeah but didn't like it.
One day in the local pub where we were celebrating the 9 day long local festivities in Castellon the owner of the pub (English chap called Richard) treated us to roasted chicken and conejo al ajillo (rabbit with garlic) and once we finished eating a friend offered me a cig and i shrugged and said sure...felt soooo good.
And yeah the crave for a cig after a meal is real and that is how i started smoking cigarettes...thank god years after i would get into vaping and find my home here in ECF.

Luv ya' guys and gals :)

I don't consider my time especially valuable. I mentioned that I didn't finish the vid, but that was for other reasons having nothing to do with time.
