I haven't had an analog in almost two years. As soon as I quit smoking I started a terrible dip habit, and also enjoy cigars on the weekend. I'm still new to the vape game (1 week) but since I purchased one I haven't put one single piece of skoal in my mouth, or had a cigar. I don't know if I will give up the latter , but the dip was my main concern. I think vaporizing is great, and encourage anyone addicted to any type of nicotine to at least try it!

Your opinion:
Ecigs should only be used by people wanting to quit analogs. However just like just about every thing else, If it can be abused it will. No one including the Govt can stop that.

My opinion: Ecigs can be used by anyone who wants to use them, no should or shouldn't about it. They're not illegal. Also, how does one abuse an ecig (short of stomping on it or pounding it with a hammer)?

Yes youngsters seem to be allured to the many flavors and the ability to do tricks with the vapor output. Yes this is a negative outcome but no different than smoking, drinking, drugs just a new form. like the fore mentioned they are supposed to be of age to purchase but falls thru the cracks. It is what it is and always has been.

Caution, vaping juicy fruit flavor, albeit muted, is a gateway to chewing full flavored juicy fruit gum, wriggley's spearmint gum, dentyne cinnamon gum, and don't even get me started on bazooka bubble gum. Muted Flavors are the gateway to full Flavors. Arm thy selves! They must be stopped!

No, seriously. I hate popping bubbles noises.

In the old days we had cigs, pipes, cigars and chew. It's the same addiction to nicotine that it has always been, it's just that now there is a new delivery device with e-cigs. As it has been since the discovery of tobacco, there is and always will be some that become addicted to it. Hopefully e-cigs prove to be a safe delivery system for nicotine. At least we can get our fix without the risk of the disease caused from smoking.

You bet it is.

And is going to be a Stumbling block when the FDA sets the Maximum Allowable Nicotine mg which can be sold in Pre-Filled Cartos.

Yea,but then the kids will just buy the cartos,Learn to extract the nicotine, and get better nic hits than we can..It NEVER CHANGES...:D

I'm not sure what You think the Price of a 5 Pack of Cartos is Gonna Cost in an FDA Controlled/State & Fed Taxed Market, but if those Kids do Extract and Purify Nicotine from Pre-Filled Carto, It's Gonna be the Rich Kids.

LOL

"In most cases, the initial decision to smoke is not made by adults. Sixty percent of smokers had their first cigarette by the age of 14 and 90% of all smokers are firmly addicted by the age of 19. According to the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, 3,000 children start smoking every day. Regrettably, one thousand of them will die prematurely because of their tobacco addiction."

What I want to know is how a teenager can afford to smoke let alone an adult. Stuff isn't cheap anymore. These numbers are likely to decrease at least in this country with the stigma thats been associated with smoking for awhile now.

I've often wondered if there wouldn't be so much hype on them if it weren't for all the fruit and food flavors. They act like kids are getting cigs that taste like a butterfinger dangled at them. Funny thing is, real cigarettes as well as other future addictions such as alcohol don't seem to be much harder for any age kid to get their hands on. Speaking from experience here...

They fear for their tax money. If the kids switch over, who is left?
