But is the 26650 really a much longer run time then a 18650?

It's not incredibly longer but is longer.....most would be happy with the 18650 I think.....I just prefer the bigger battery mods myself most often regardless of size though not like the 26650 MCM is that large but is larger.

Remember too the higher wattage your running all the way up to potentially 20W the quicker your battery will need swapped out. I'm thinking I can drain around 6-8ml at a setting of around 12w on a single 1.5-2ohm coil on the big battery(26650)....just a guess.....usually I pay attention more to my volume of juice per charge than time vaping....easier measure for me to understand or make sense of.

When I had my 18650 MCM I was more than fine with the battery life it provided....I like them all.:toast:

Good info. Might just go with a 18650, nice and sleek :)

Will the 26650 batteries be able to handle sub ohm?

Save those for the mechanicals....the DNA20 does some strange things running the subs.....I've had to pull my battery a few times and reset it. The big battery is more equipped than the 18650 to handle subs so beware...not a battery issue but DNA limit.....look up the DNA Spec sheet and it makes sense.

The Batteries will but the DNA only goes to .8 ohms If you want to do sub ohms your better off with a straight mech mod. Then you don't have to worry about frying switches and circuit boards.

But then again there is no need for sub ohms as the DNA goes up to 20 watts :)

I think my favorite setup is running my JGG at 6.XX V with around a 1.2 coil with my RDA topper.....been playing around with a new Kayfun Lite I just picked up and I think I'm definitely sticking with the dripper.....sorry Kayfun fans....lol

The Kayfun is not a easy atty to master but worth the effort Once you get it down it is one of the more reliable RBA tanks available I take that or my Ihtaka to work all of the time with no worries of failure.

I think that's the issue buzz....was expecting maybe too much from the Kayfun but will continue to experiment with it and see what I can come up with.....what I'm getting is on par with the Ithaka but for some reason was expecting more. I think the real issue is I just like dripping into these awesome dual coil RDA's....these things are quite something to use nowadays.

I'm no dripper expert as Ive only had a Hornet for my Reo a while back and now the Castle I have now. From what I see there are quite a few very excellent drippers on the market now....I picked the Castle up by dumb luck here in the classifieds. I think the original owner picked it up on Vape Smith's Castle Facebook page or store....something like that. The best part for me is that it's 22mm and holds at least 20 drops...almost like it's not a dripper at all with the great taste of a dripper.

Why hornet over a RM2?

Word of caution: I wasn't paying attention and swapped out my 26650 for another and collapsed my spring....yea, I put the battery in backwards. The good news is the spring collapsed as designed and the DNA built in protection worked as designed.....LOL.....I was wanting a bit beefier, stiffer spring in it anyway....for now just stretched it back out but not a solution...once ya collapse a spring replace it.:toast:
