Howdy Ripple! Long time no see. I thought you weren't to fond of the box mods. Glad to see you coming to the winning team. ;)

Next batch of mods will be mostly DNA20's.

I have fund I do like the dna20 box mods for tasting, etc., (I know, I Mr. Tube mod, they are often heavy if they have the electronics, though :()I'll definitely be watching!!! :thumb:

I wish the mini dna12 I purchased was made in this style. :) I rarely go above 12 watts; my juice gets nasty and too hot around 11 watts. Ah well, such is evolution, ha ha.

Great wood work for a very good price. People are selling mechanical wood mods for more than what Matador is selling these for.

3 18650's a day!!??! Good god man! Are you ok? That's pretty intense.
It's the batteries I'm using (sony 30a 1600mah). I really like the lower internal resistance and don't mind throwing a few extra batts in my backpack. I use those because I use a mech at work. A dna20 mod for nights and weekends sounds like it's right up my alley because I enjoy slr vaping so much.

The new version of the Sony 30A battery (US18650VTC4) has the same wonderfully low internal resistance (~12mΩ), and more capacity (2100mAh vs. 1600mAh in the US18650VTC3). If you're using a battery in a DNA20/DNA30 mod, rather than in a mech, you can go for a little more internal resistance with the corresponding increase of capacity, as long as the battery can supply the current needs of the DNA20/DNA30 when the voltage gets below 3.5 volts or so at the end of the discharge (which as I recall means the battery has to be able to supply 7A/9A).
