I mean, I'm calling it a trigger, that's probably the wrong term, on the side, kind of like the Opus.

Yeah, I like the idea of a button on the side. I'll play around with that idea, see what I can come up with.

I also prefer the non-lacquer finish. I'm in line...

I've tried a few different oil finishes and the wood warped a little. So far lacquer just seems to be the most reliable finish. I'm still experimenting with finishes, I'd like to use something other than lacquer too.

What did you end up doing for a finish on yours?

I sanded it a little, applied 2 coats of wax in between and I'll do one or 2 more coats before - I hope - it's nice and smooth. So not quite finished yet but I've decided to give it a try just 2 days ago ^^
I really prefer the feel of pure wood, but that's me

And I second the trigger button I find it's a more natural position to fire on box mods.
