ManCaveMods - VW amd VV Wood Mods

Here's a prototype mod I built before evolv released the dna. I really wanted a wood VW box mod and I had a KICK so I built this. I dont know how many people have a kick or would be interested in something like this. There is a metal tab that makes contact with the positive post on the KICK when the door shuts. This was thrown together very sloppy and looks like garbage, but if it sparks an interest I can develop it a little more and build something very nice. And just a side note, I will be building a few dna mods in a box this size soon.

The Padauk mod has been sold. I will have more up as soon as I can. I will have a 26650 DNA mod finished this weekend, and a few 18650 mods done next week some time.

I get all day out of it. Of course, I always carry an extra battery with me. The beauty of the DNA used in ManCaveMod's is they behave similar to the Kick in respect to letting you know when it's time to change batts. When your battery is low, it will pulsate when firing, giving you a clear indication that it's time to change the battery.

I just got my padauk and zebrawood mods! They are gorgeous!! Excellent craftsmanship all around!! I can say that with confidence because I own some of the best wood mods around. I love the DNA chip, set it and forget it!! These mods are a steal at this price!! I'm vaping the padauk right now. I was going to give one to Hubby, but now I'm not so sure. I could never decide which to give him, LOL.

Matt, you really should number these. Many wood modders do that, and that makes them even more collectable. I don't like the name "FireBox", reminds me too much of smoking. How about the CloudBox? Or, since you are ManCaveMods, how about the Neanderthal?

Im waiting on some more DNA's to get here, but I'll post a few pics of the progress soon.

Hercules is a good one, but so many companies name their stuff after Greek gods already. I have a few different models coming out soon and maybe after we see them all side by side it will be easier to come up with names.

Here's a pic of the 26650 so far. I have no electronics in it. just the box so far. Its East Indian Rosewood. The camera doesn't do much justice, but it has an amazing array of different colors in it. Beautiful wood!

Yeah, I like Hercules, but, you're right, Greek names have been over done. You could look into Roman gods and godesses.

Yup, yours would be 4 and 6. Those are awesome name suggestions. I like Nomad for the 18650 and Mammoth for the 26650. I was also thinking the Bonobo and the Kong. Or even Egyptian gods.. Horus, Osiris, Mandulis, Ra..

I think it's cool if the names for the mods tie into your biz name. Even though ManCaveMods isn't CaveManMods, it's not that far of a stretch. You have kind of already been branded.

Bonobo and Kong remind me of the jungle. After thinking about it, Egyptian names would be cool if you were making PharoahMods, but you're making ManCaveMods. Not trying at all to be critical, but you asked for input... I just call your mods "awesome".

Yes, since you call them man cave mods, how about naming the mods after rocks or rock formations? Like the stalagmite.

There's already a Mammoth and a King Kong from different vendors. For the 26650, how about Colossus?
