I've been thinking about using magnets in my mods anyway. The zebra wood mod in the current batch has magnets in the lid. Im a fan of the friction fit style lids, but thats just personal preference.

Moofaso, I believe that mod was from my very first batch ever. Tons of things have changed in the way I make mods since then. I use a combibation of several pre finishing products that prevent the wood from swelling and shrinking. I use a wood hardener and a mix of several oils and sealers before the lacquer goes on. Your lid changing shape is the first to do that, Let me know if you want me to fix it.

i think RTDvapor has them as well. Thats where I buy my batts, or ebay you can get them cheap but shipped from china so it takes a month.

It turns out that SuperT is out-of-stock on both choices of 18650s, so your pointer to RTDvapor is much appreciated. They not only had the Panasonics in stock, but it turns out I "needed" a handful of other things, so I just placed an order. Nice site, buying was a pleasure, and their prices are good.

jkmtwo: I only got two though. I've been getting by with a 2x14500 VV box without needing to change batteries except maybe once, and the MCM will be my only 18650 device, so I can't imagine needing more than two 18650s. I do sorta expect to hear you say "I told you so" at some point in the near future though...

two 18650's will get you by. As long as you have one to use while your charging the other you will be just fine.
