Manual batteries

Any trick to a manual battery. Just got one for dry burning (All my others are auto) and I think its DOA.

Push button, nothing happens. Try to charge and nothing happens.

No, 78mm stick manual. I think its DOA, just confirmed with SI

I had one battery That went bad and they sent me a new one the same day.
