manual vs. auto

im currently the proud owner of a kr808 auto...and im looking into buying a manual are there any great things or horrible things i should be aware of (ie: flavor, heat, batt life,ect) and what supplier would you recommend me to buy from...i always love other opinions so feel free to call me an idiot for wanting one(just give me a reason!)

I have both and like the Autos better. I don't see much of a difference in the hit that you get and like the feel of an auto.

But if you want to drip, then you should get a manual. I do cartos 100% of the time so autos are fine.

My first PV has an auto battery. When I started vaping, I wanted the experience to be as much like smoking as possible. I didn't want to have to press a button. However, I soon found that auto batteries sometimes activate due to vibration (wind, movement, loud noise, etc.). So my next PV was a manual kit. Pressing a button before inhaling was an easy transition. Flavor, heat and battery life remain about the same with manuals. Never understand why they dident put a twist switch in the end of auto mini batts. Then you could just turn em off when they werent in use.

I'm a recent convert to manual batts, loved my Joye 306 and dipping until it got to be too much having to recharge it every 1/2 hour. And, my first KR808D-1 was an automatic. I never had a prob with vibration, wind, movement, loud noise. The only time my automatics activated was when I vaped. My choice now though is definitely manual. Can't even say why exactly, just feels more 'solid'.........

I never liked the "primer puff" you need to take with an auto. The transition to pressing a button takes very little time and gives you much more control in return. I find pressing the button as you bring the pv from resting position to your lips is just enough time to have everything pre-heated if you will. ymmv

At the end of the day the best bet is to buy both (budget allowing of course) and find what works better for you. That and if you ever want to graduate to a nice big battery mod you'll need to get used to the button.

Ordered two kits and two passthroughs and they are great.

Regarding auto vs manual. I have both and prefer the auto when I'm driving. I've had the manual button stick occasionally on a few KR808D-1 batteries.

i use autos. never had the manuals. i did not want to press a button to vape, after giving up analogs, i like to keep it as close to them as possible.

ps: i use cartos 100% of the time. i do not drip or anything like that so auto+carto work for me.

I'm using a KR8 manual and a PT and love them both! I started out with an Eluma, which only comes as an auto and I think there are advantages for both styles. I thought an auto was the way to go until my manual came...it might be because of the feeling that I'm in control with the manual and there are no accidental vapes. I don't know for sure - all I know is I'm hooked on vaping and I see myself owning several different kinds and models...anything to keep me from picking up an analog!!

A good manual KR808D-1 battery is the Cigeasy Elegant. Picked one up a few weeks ago and absolutely love it.

Fully charged, it will last a day and a half.
