Having problems with the wicking in my map tank.I have cut the sides of the plastic cap that goes on top of the ceramic cup.Have to pull the top of the derlin cap up a little to get a good flow of liquid.I am a chain vapor so hitting it hard.Any ideals or suggestions of better wicking on CE2s in Map tanks?

I wish I could help.... I chain vape too! I have not modified my map at all nor need to.... I vape a juice 60/40 pg/vg. 555 dark juice from vaporrenu. I can chain vape 2 tanks a day some times. And have never had any problems with leaking nor wicking... Well, let me correct my self. I have used the 2.4 ohm, 2.8, and 3.2 all with an eGo battery... the 3.2 ohm gunked up fast and lost vape production after 1 tank on an eGo battery... the 2.8 I broke and the 2.4 I think is just right on the eGo battery. I have used the same E2 2.4 ohm with 60 mls so far and no problems - I do clean after every before every fill. That's my experience with these. You also need to give some care when putting it together, when done right these things are incredible. I am new to vapeing and these were not to hard to figure out at all. watch some videos on youtube and Bruce also has a video from vapetv that can help. What ohm are you using and what battery are you using. That could answer some of your problems - maybe...

I forgot to add. I don't get selfish and try to fill a 5 ml in them...I fill a little over 4 mls so there is some air inside the tank... I find that this helps me alot and I don't get the gurgling E2 sound like it is flooded !

Not sure why I have problems. My juice is 80 pg and 20vg so it is thin.Just get burnt ceramic taste.I started out just stock not cutting anthying and looked at a few things people have dont to the map tanks and tried the cutting of the plastic cup on top of the CE2 so it will wick better,it does but chain vaping seems to dry it out fast ot it will not wick fast enough.

well, I just got my map tank and I have had it filled twice. On the second tank I realized that performance was dimished just the slightest bit. So when I finished the 2nd tank, I did the thorough cleaning on it, including the dry burn. Now it is working perfectly again. I have not cut the silicon cap, and I have a hard time believing that you could be chain vaping worse than me. This thing hardly every leaves my hand, so I do tip it quite often so that it is more like dripping than wicking. I also vape 80/20 mix, but right now I have a 50/50 mix in it and it is fine with just the tipping.

I agree with the dont fill it all the way up. I fill mine to below the atty cup, and I dont recommend filling it above the bottom of the atty cup.

Try the deep cleaning and a dry burn. Refill, and drop a couple drops onto the atty, reassemble and vape away :vapor:

when are they gona get more map-tanks back in stock? i really want one.

or do they sell them other places?

Watch the COV site. I have seen them hit between Wednesday and Friday. Looks like he gets a few each week and they are gone pretty quick. I just got lucky last week and must have went on when he added them (that was a Thursday). It showed up earlier this week and it is cetainly a well made unit and a good addition to the vaping gear box. Best of luck and when you see them stocked pounce on one.
