The leaking seems to have come to a stop. However, it's not firing at all. I press the button on my Chuck and go to inhale and all I'm getting is air, no vapor. :(

I had a little trouble when I first got my MAP tank, I thought the damn thing wasnt firing. The problem ended up being that I had the tank screwed on too tight. I loosened it up and it worked great. Try that.

Someone posted a few pages back that the Atomic Cinnamon etched the plastic in the tank.

In the MAP? I'll have to reread it... I thought the damage was the Clearomizers NOT the MAP. I've used nothing but Cinnamon in mine since I got it... no issues.

I was hoping that was it. Just tried it and that didn't work. :(

Candy Cane in a 2.8 MAP Tank on my Silver Bullet is exactly what I've been waiting for - just straight, no hassle, drip- and fill-free vaping.

My mailman had been riding around with my MAP on his truck all week because there was a 5' deep and 4' high block of snice (snow that freezes into ice) obstructing my mailbox and a sizable slab of ice on the street in front of my driveway. I was desperate to get the tank so I had my son and his friends out there since Wednesday chipping away at it. I now know bliss.

I got mine too! Quick question, it looks ready to just fill....do I have to take it apart and retwist the string or do I just fill and go?

I also got some clearomizers, figured this would be a good way to get a feel for the whole CE2 thing. So far, so good. A bit of a pain to fill but not so bad. I bought the 3.2ohm, too hot and too burnt with 6volt batts so I switched my batts to 3.7 and I am pretty pleased. I didn't like the lower voltage on the carto's because the draw seemed to be harder and not as much of a hit but this is a much easier and airier draw and much warmer than cartos. I want to see how long they last before it gets yucky. I hate fuddling so if I can get several weeks out of it then I am good because the idea of yanking everything apart and cleaning is not appealing.

I figured out real quick to leave my device on its side rather than upright and at least till I break it in a bit, chain vaping isn't as great but so far so good.

Here is my update with the Map Tank...... I love it.... After many tanks and using different oHms... I like the 2.4 best with the eGo battery... Still waiting for my GLV.... Using the eGo battery the 3.2 gunked up fast and after topping off the liquid three times the juice turned dark as coffee and lost it's vaping- taste was smooth and cool. The 2.8 was awesome... didn't gunk up as fast but I broke it after trying to pull out the E2 so I can't talk much about that one but, the taste and vaping of my juice was awesome. The 2.4 PERFECT with the eGo battery... Juice taste nice, vaping AWESOME with clouds of vapor. the 2.4 does not gunk up as fast - I can top it off 4 times before I feel like I need to clean it.

How I am cleaning the CE2 is - grab a coffee cup fill with water... bring to boil in microwave. I haven't figure out how to pull the CE2 out of the bottom stopper without destroying the CE2 so I leave it in. With the CE2 out of the tube and still attached to the bottom stopper I jiggle the wick and metal coil part in the very hot water. lightly scrub it ( the metal coil )with a fine tooth brush and jiggle it in the very hot water again. I then drop it in a dish of rubbing alcohol for a 3 minute soak. Scrub the coil again with a tooth brush till it looks like new again. I take it out and pat down the wicks with a napkin to dry them off. blow dry the plastic and metal with my mouth till alcohol has evaporated. Attach to battery, do a dry burn till coil turns red twice - blow to cool down.... Attach it all together and fill with liquid. AND I'M VAPING JUST LIKE IT IS NEW AGAIN.... This is working for me. I am using my all day vape juice with these Maps - 555 from vaporrenu which is already a tan juice!
All this in under 15 minutes... and with the Map I don't have to refill the cart every 10 minutes or so - I LOVE MY MAPS !!!

Let me know what you guys are doing... I'll take any advice on how to get the CE2 out of the bottom stopper.. I have destroyed 1 CE2 trying to take it out and have also pulled the top off my eGo passthrough battery when trying to pull it out. For now I'm leaving it attached until I have to replace the CE2 !!!!

I forgot to add --- I am experiencing no leaks with these either... Just make sure everything is attached right is my advice!!

Thanks Bruce - Now all I need is some mini maps !!

I use an old 510 battery, screw the map tank on and slowly twist and pull. The E2 comes right out. No problem at all. The silicone filler cap falls off into the tank so I use tweezers to remove it. Actually, I see no need to ever remove the delrin plugs. I run hot water through the empty tank and them push tissues into the tank to dry the excess water. After cleaning the E2 and doing a dry burn, I replace the filler cap on it and carefully push it back in, making sure to seat the filler cap back into the top delrin cap. That's all I do for maintenance.
