Ditto. I use my 2.8 and my 3.2 on a Big KaZoo for the best vapes.

The following issue/interesting observation may have been covered somewhere in this gigantic thread so please direct me to the conversation if it is has. I'm seeing vapor in the tank as the liquid level lowers. Could this mean the top isn't properly seated or is this part of normal operation?

And, because the vapor occurs after I've vaped I consider the liquid contaminated if it sits in there overnight and toss it. How do you MAPers deal with leftover juice in general?

I'm seeing vapor in the tank as well. I think it's "blowback" from the simple act of drawing on it as you vape. Kind of like "washback" in a pop as you drink it. If I have juice the next day, for example right now I have probably 2ml out of 4ml when I filled the tank. I'm just going to vape it all up. Still tastes ok to be this morning.

I did however snag a MAP mini and at a 2ml fill (out of a total of 2.5ml) that will work out perfect because my juice gunks up after 2-3 ml and the coil needs to be cleaned and dry burned.

In an earlier post I mentioned using food grade o-ring and seal lube on the bottom delrin cap so it slides easier into the tube. It's so much nicer just being able to remove the cap and re-seat the cap using finger strength only. When I replace my CE2 XL I'm going to try using a bit on the CE2 where it goes into the cap. I'm willing to bet it will then be removable by hand quite easily.

Where can I get some of that food grade silicone?

That depends. If you are using a 3.2Ω E2 then it works quite well up to 4.2v. A regulated variable voltage mod is really the way to go. you can "tune" it to any atty/carto.

Yeh, I guess I ordered the ProVari last night lol... That what happens to me, I read, read, read, read, read, watch, watch, watch, and then buy.. :)

{edit} I should have read on down as "where to get" has been answered.

Warning to all. Olive oil PAM spray does not go well with vaping. That's what I used to lubricate top and bottom for a tube and it ruined the taste of a whole tank of great juice, even though I wiped it down well. Next time I'll find some food grade lubricant.

I'm soaking the intact tank, with E2 in it, with plain PG and a lot of cinnamon flavorant, to get rid of the olive oil. Even if the cinnamon "stays" somewhat in the wick and ceramic cup, it will be better than the olive oil "vape". Haven't had time to empty tank and try it yet but the "massive cinnamon" soak should do the job.

Where does one go to get "food grade lubricant"? I like to use either Amazon or Sites that use Paypal.

Wouldn't mineral oil work?. Anyone have experience with it in this situation?

We had to use a whole bunch of it once when a six foot Rat Snake got all stuck up on a sticky rat-catching pad. He was one unhappy snake but it is a safe product for getting all over living things. I'm wondering about how remnants of it would effect the taste of juice when vaped.

I guess I could mix a little in with some PG and try it out on an old, debridged 510. I only use those for tasting juices. Our track record is so good with keeping attys alive I rarely have any that need debridging; after six months, two vapers, I only have three. I maintain our "track record" is so good because of my method of cleaning and dry-burning. I've only popped one atty dryburning, after a boil, and it was because I pushed it too long on the pulse burn; won't do that again. It was an LR 306 that I pushed beyond 20 seconds of pulsing.

On the COV site he only has the 3.2 black XLs left (7 boxes). You need to strip the outer cover to use them... I soak in alcohol for a couple of days - some boil it.

Gotya, since I'm using my reg eGO battery for now, I should try and find a lower ohm carto? 2.5ohm? And once I get my provari I can securely go for the higher ohm cartos?

The way the MAP works in my head is, that you fill the tank with juice, screw on the atomizer, put on the drip tip and that's it..Where do the cartos come into play?

Edit: Not sure what I was thinking.. lol.. The Map doesn't use atomizers.. lmao.. I'm embarrassed. It goes Battery, screw on map tank, use drip tip..

In theory using a VV Provari you could use any ohm you want by adjusting voltage on the PV itself
A new MAP comes pre-assembled but I would still chec for leaks before using they are hand made every one is a little different
This describes re-placement of the coil E2 cartomizer atomizing unit
The way the MAP works is the E2 coil ( this contains your atomizer in a ceramic cup) is inserted into the bottom grommet, then the grommet is pressed into the acrylic tube, you now place the silicone fill ring over the ceramic cup, now you press the top grommet into the tube so it's just above the wicks but fitting into the grommet enough to avoid leaking, now you fill the tube using a syringe to the level you want, insert drip tip and vape.
You might start off not filling all the way till you are sure it's done right try tiping it up side down rolling on its side checking for leaks there should not be any. The MAP Tanks when set up right do not leak.

Ok I think I got it. So the cartomizer is inside the tank?

Out of curiosity, does Bruce have some sort of instructional video? I saw some recording of his from a Stickam session, but it covered many things.. I liked watching it:)

Ok I got fooled by the top grommet being off. Is it necessary to take off the top gromment to change the CE2?

Yes at least that is how I do it
First remove the top from the tube, then remove the tube from the bottom, then remove the E2 from the bottom. There should be a couple videos about if you search
