map tank question

i have a map tank and the piece of stainless that you put the drip tip in on the top cap is pushed into the cap. it's flush with the top and bottom no place to get a hold of it to pull/push it out, what is the easiest/best way to get it out?

the piece of stainless should be the same diameter as an atty or carto, can you use
one as a pusher to push it thru and still have enough to grab onto and remove??

Bend a paper clip and hook it to pull it up......

Just use it like it is your tip will still fit. I use mine that way works great and its a 1/4 inch shorter
