Well, that's a one-way hash, so that wouldn't be really useful. Can't ever be reversed.
Exactly, but for small enough amounts of text, that you have an idea of what it might generally contain would allow you to compile a list of texts that create that hash, then figure out which one of them it is most likely to be.
So if I md5 it, give you the original characterset and size of message then you can start guessing what I wrote Hows that for a challenge?

I usually only use MD5 for passwords
Depends on the size of the message. If it's a page of text, it's just not gonna happen.
