I really love this part

There are no known stores in Somerset that sell the non-tobacco products targeted under the regulations, but the Fall River area tobacco cessation and prevention coordinator, Marilyn Edge, has been urging area towns to put regulations in place. Taunton recently approved similar rules, but other area communities have yet to do so, she said.

I really wished by now these so-called "experts" that make up these laws (and a law on something that does not exist) gets their heads out of their asses.

I see a problem in they want you to not vape were you can't Smoke. First its the bars, then the cars, your home and the parks then open areas etc. Wait for the first sign to go up saying your not allowed to smoke or vape in this town,it may seem another planet now, wait a few years.

I don't see the problem here. They're not talking about a "ban". They just want anyone who sells them to be licensed to do so. As of now, there are no stores around here that sell them.

They go beyond the regulation though. You cannot even use them in places where real smoking is already banned.

It kind of negates the purpose of the PV if one is forced to step outside to use it and inhale second hand smoke from analog users. Here in Rhode Island (where we have none of this BS yet), I can happily use my PV in my local Applebees with no trouble whatsoever. Even the manager and bartender seem to like the device! Nobody is offended, I am satisfied, all is well. I even use it at my desk at work. People are always commenting on how nice it smells around my desk (my vape of choice at work is Atomic Cinnocide from Tasty Vapor). It's a win win for everyone.

But if this sort of malarchy was pulled here in RI, then that would have to end. I'd have to go to the smoking area to use a NON SMOKING device.

This is why these sort of bills and "laws" are a bad thing.
