Sorry to hear that. It could be combination of both, they can tend to reinforce each other. But it could also be unrelated issues causing the attack. Play it safe and see a doctor.

If you have more than that one you posted, start a small journal or diary to track them. Time they occur, length, your environment at the time and if you can, what you were feeling right before the onset.

One of my cousins had issues with panic attacks and this helped him narrow down the causes. In his case it was due to his high stress financial work. They just didn't seem to be related due to when they were hitting him.

The worst panic attack I ever had in my life, I was on vacation with friends having a great time, next I felt like I was going to die. No rhyme or reason. It was explained to me by a doctor it's a chemical in balance in the brain. Sometimes it just happens. May or may not have been related to withdrawal. Either way, hope your doing better now. If not visit your doctor, there are plenty of meds that can help.

I am so sorry to hear that someone else has had them. It can be very stressful and I can see where nicotine withdrawal could possibly trigger one. But hopefully it was just a one time occurance. If they continue I would go see your physician. Good luck to you and thank you for posting this question. It could help others. Hope to read about your continued success with vaping. If you are still having a craving for a real cigarette you may try keeping some higher nic juice around for emergency use. I know I do.

hi eveyone has anybody had a panic attack though withdrawal has i had one the other night wondering if it is withdrawal or is it stress

A little known cause for anxiety attacks but certainly not the only one is a B vitamin deficiency , your brain needs B vitamins to function correctly and smoking tobacco tends to strip B vitamins from your system , besides seeing a doctor you might consider taking a couple of mega doses of B complex a couple of times and see if that helps , there was a book written called Mind , Body and B vitamins by a doctor that treated allied POW's that were held in Japan that exhibited all kinds of mental problems and were written off as psychiatric cases but turned out to be B vitamin deficiencies , try 100mg B complex a few times a day it might help you .

I haven't picked up my tobacco pipe in about exactly one week and I've had a bit of frustrated feelings a time or two, but by and large it's been pretty painless so far. I do know about panic attacks though, for many years I took care of a loved one and when she became bedridden and I had to take care of everything that went into and came out of her, it got sort of rough as I really didn't have a break for years, was always on call. She's passed about two and a half years ago and I'm just now feeling sort of normal again.

With the e-cigs, the main ingredient that's addicting is nicotine I believe so I would try stepping up the strength a bit and please do stick with it, I can already feel like it's going to be worth it, I mean I feel better in only a week!

I too safer from panic attack sins 2008 not related to e cig . I was put on escitalopram ever sins . 2 years ego when a started vaping i was clean of medication and i have a mild panic attack . Recently i started to take st john wart to see if it is good for me . From my point of view the e cig is not to blame . The big problem with the ssri is the weight gain .
