I purchase my vape juice at 12% nicotine. I am making my own for the 1st time. I have 24mg nicotine and am making 30 ml juice.

I am using the Steam Engine calculator. What would I enter in the "Target Nicotine Strength" in mg/ml to get to 12% nicotine?

Let's back up a Second.

12% Nicotine would be 120mg/ml. Did you mean that you Vape 1.2% which would be 12mg/ml?

Yes, you PROBABLY mean you vape 12 mg juice, right?
(that is not 12%)...

If so, that's your "target". You're starting with 24 mg strength, and AIMING (target, see?) for 12 mg.

When I purchase a 30ml bottle it contains 12% nicotine - In my calculator it is asking for my target nicotine in mg/ml

I guess i need to figure out 12% of 30ml?

But this is Important. 12% Nicotine is 120mg/ml. And you CAN NOT Vape this. It is TOO STRONG.

1.2% Nicotine would be 12mg/ml. That level of Nicotine would be Fine to Vape.

Set your "Target Level" in you e-Liquid calculator for 12mg/ml and you will make something that is Safe and Vapable.
