Max % of distilled in 100% VGA?

I've discovered that over time water can skew the taste of some flavor extracts. As for percentage, I've tested as high as 20 percent. I still vape just VG with 14% distilled water occasionally (no flavoring). Works okay for me and gives some TH. anything over 7 percent seems to be considered quite high.
Kurt, are you using 100% VG flavors too? I am (Nature's Flavors) and found it still very, very thick. Here is the recipe I'm using:
4.8 ml nicotine base (100mg/ml 100% VG)
11.6 ml VG
1 ml distilled water
2 mil NF Bavarian Creme
.6 ml NF Malt
This came out very thick, so I added another ml of distilled, which was STILL very thick, so I added another ml of water and .5 ml Bavarian Creme. This is feeling good for consistency, but it seems like a lot of water. This is the result:

Kurt is absolutely correct. Ive gone as high as 25% in VG only with no flavoring. However while he goes at 22%, I make all mine at 20% flavoring(s) and DW.
Considering the flavoring is all VG as well then I would recommend 70%vg base, 30% flavoring, dist water, and any other additives. This should allow for decent wicking. Give or take 5%. If its not dry hitting in your atty,and you can chain vape it without issue then you are spot on.... as long as you are sure its the juice and not your equipment at fault.

I'm self-moving this to the NF thread. I nailed the consistency, might even be too thin but the flavor is crap.
