So this is might turn out to be a dumb question but here goes; if you put max VG liquid in a sub tank will it leak? There seems to be a lot of confusion about this around some of the local vape shops here. I've received many different answers, and am now confused myself. VG is thicker so why would it leak out? Please can anyone clarify. Thanks in advance!

VG will not cause it to leak, have ran Max VG in one since day one. It can cause a dry hit depending on your vaping style and power though.

If someone is having one leak then it is
a bad one
a broken one
user error

PG would leak before or worse than VG, unless it is nicobine. That stuff is VG but runs like PG but it is pasteurized, so....

Using factory coil heads, they all leak some, whether high VG or high PG.:2c:
I have been vaping high VG juice for over 2 years and the only tanks I use that are virtually leak free have been KF or KFL.:2c:
Vaping high VG requires finesse with the air flow and wattage. Too little air flow = flooding and gurgling, Too much air flow = dry hits.:2c:

Its a dance we all do with store bought atomizers - you have to vape where IT wants to perform otherwise your getting gurgling or burn cotton and have to start over with a fresh one. A (IMHO) costly dance. Sometimes the darn things will have decent output only to get clogged with a favorite juice, pop another one in and you can't get anywhere near the output. (sigh) You can attempt to "push it" and risk burning your cotton or just live with the non-optimum vape.

After burning the cotton on way to many factory coils I decided there just had to be a better way. Hence my venture into RTA's.

Making your own coils and doing your own wicking CAN remove or reduce many of the issues found with factory atomizers. For < $20 of wire and cotton (shipped and delivered) I have already made more atomizers than I could of bought for the same $20 and have barely tapped into my wire+cotton supply.

    YMMV.
